Seeing a shiny new Vic classic always makes me smile for some reason.
Whistles built into the scales should be standard on all SAKs
The only issue is that it made the SAK kind of thick: ~1/4 inch.
If that were on an actual Voyaguer!!

Sir, good to e-see you. Do you have a source of supply for this SAK? My major career event in the USCG was one of the planners and ops types- only a lowly E6 - for OpSail 86 Salute to Liberty. A year planning and quite the nautical party!! A weekend of Hundreds of boats. Thanks, let me know please where to find one of these if available?! If not, no prob, just glad to see you posting.
Hi there. These knives are available on eBay every once in awhile. Some, like mine, are two-tone with a gold and silver look; some are only a silver color. Cost is in the range of ~$100 to ~$150. As an example here’s one on eBay right now:
Purchased at Coltelleria Galli, a small knife store in Firenze/Florence, Italy.
I know that shop... casually (surely not) located in Via della Spada ("Sword's Street)
Nick, my apologies. I meant this little knife store: http://www.coltelleriabianda.it/contatti.html
