Thank you! The scales are very thick...like carrying a 6 layer SAK. But it looks amazing!

Man, without the branding for Victorinox I would have thought Spyderco was making something for the Swiss market! :)

Re: Hunter Pro.. if they do it colored, it would be pretty cool. plain silver alox for a knife this huge is a bit too much for me. and the huge tilted logo is quite tacky. still, with colored scales, it might look decent.

If you google, there are pics out there of coloured ones. Still, I have my reservations

Well had a go and this was the result, perhaps a bit chunkier than I wanted but it feels right.

How did you attach the scales? Glue?

Yes' I drilled the inside of the antler to acommodate the pins holding the knife together and then applied some araldite epoxy which I clamped for a few hours, it has set hard as rock.

Gorilla Glue will hold objects together forever too But it expands like the stuff you squirt in walls so you have to hold the hobby objects in place and watch for ooze until dry. I have something crooked which will never move again! Lol

I think Gorilla now sells a glue that doesn't expand too.

I use their wood glue and contact adhesive pretty often... good stuff for my uses.
