    Got these for a steal last weak, soaked them in soapy water for 2 days and cleaned them out thoroughly as the tools were pretty much stuck in the handle due to dirt, lint and whatnot.

    All clean and oiled now and they're just as smooth and snappy as if they were new!
    Not bad for 23, 29 and 32 years old!

    They still need a good sharpening and the 83 needs some work on the busted awl.

    You can see the tip has snapped off but I'll grind it down to a point when I have time.

    I consider it repayment for the service it provided and the abuse it has suffered.

    Oh man I'm ecstatic! I kind of "refurbished" the crummy one and its just such a joy to carry. And its a slice of history which is also nice ^^

    Harvester, farmer, outrider and swiss champ. Found that last one when I was visiting my mother. My childhood knife. One of them at least. And is there still nobody who k ows somebody who can mod an alox in Holland?
