Just received a olight i3e eos, playing with in last night. I think I might need to order a couple more..
@weklund: egg salad patina? Scratching my head... is this a German style egg salad with a vinegar content? If not I'm trying to understand what might cause the patina? Or is that simply a descriptive term? Am Yisrael Chai! Moshe ben David
Very easy process. Boil 2 eggs, peel while still warm and dice/chop fine. Place diced egg in a small zip lock bag and added the Raw CU light and seal. Remove excess air and roll tightly to cover the CU body. Let sit for 3 hours and remove from baggy. Rinse with soapy water. That's all there is to it.
Thanks. I can't help but wonder chemically what is in the eggs to react and cause the patina? I know from lab experience that when hydrogen sulfide is generated it sometime is characterized as a 'rotten egg' smell. But I've never noticed it with hard boiled eggs - my preferred way of preparing eggs for easy consumption! Maybe its just there in low enough concentrations not to smell but sufficient to bring on the reaction... Anyone reading this want to chime in? Its just a curious thing. Am Yisrael Chai! Not all of my Olight’s, but my favorites! Also using one of my i5Ts on the helmet until I can get a decent replacement lol!
I love my S1R II Autumn Ti. It’s the NW led that makes this light so pleasant to use. #226 of 3000 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No photos but I have a Baldr Pro on my Glock 17. Sometimes, it's on my FNP-45. Also, have two 13T EOS lights which I got for cap use and the long life on low and great beam on high. I like the momentary on tail switch as well. I prefer the twist switches on my little Fenix's more (E01 and E01 V2) and E05. Where I like a tail switch is on lights for tactical use.
