Could one argue that Boogie is the amp equivalent to that X7R?

Could anyone talk me out of buying a S1RII limited edition (winter) in bead blasted titan with the warmer light emitter that does 'only' 850lm ?
I am a happy user of the regular S1RII and a big sucker for titan . . .

If you were posting at 12:11am eastern it was already running when you posted. The site was a mess and the commerce was a nightmare. Took me almost an hour to get my order in. I will have many lights soon I hope.

I have the first release i1R EOS and just got the i1R2 EOS (version 2). They are very similar with some minor differences.
Olight i1R EOS has been on car key fob chain for 1 year. Olight i1R2 EOS is brand new.

Old post but thought this might be useful to others. The CR123A is a lithium (usually) battery that's non-rechargeable. The 16340 is the exact same size but a lithium ion rechargeable battery. The numbers of "16340" translate to "16" as the diameter of the battery and "340" as the length in mm. Same goes for 18650, 21700 and 26650.

Lithium batteries are usually no more than 3.2v at full capacity (new battery). Lithium Ion batteries will be at 4.2v at full charge so you have to be careful that the electronics can handle the extra voltage. Some have tried using LiIon batteries in camera equipment and fried it because of the extra voltage. Most flashlights should be able to handle the extra voltage w/o issue.

Going by voltage alone, the S1RII charger should work fine with the H1R. Most likely, the charging circuit would be inside the flashlight and not in the magnetic dongle.

There's a new Xmas sale that started over an hour ago. I was tempted by the BF and CM sales but didn't jump on any of the deals but I did pay $5 and get a free i3E. I've owned at least 5 Olights (T10, T15, T25, M20X warrior, S10 Baton) over 10yrs, not including the dozens of i3's I've bought over the years to give to family and friends. I actually had i3's when they were made by ITP. I also have some EagleTac, Sunwayman and SureFire lights (with drop-ins).

I've been looking at the S1R and S2R for a few months but really didn't need any new lights but it kept coming up and I'd want a new light. Last week, I decided to just get a Baton Pro but I saw that the sale was starting in a few days so I waited. They had a deal where you get a free S2R II with a $200 purchase so I ordered a Baton Pro, S1RII and Seeker 2 Pro. They threw in a free i3E and S2RII so not a bad deal for about $210. No more new lights for another 10 yrs :p

    Thanks for clarifying that.
I know I'm splitting hairs here, but the numbers in those lithium ion cells refers to the size of the cell, not the size of the entire thing - that's why protected 18650s often exceed the 65 mm length - the cell is 65mm, but the protection adds a few mil in size.

I thought the H1R would be a great light to clip to me when I'm lugging around heavy stuff in the dark (loading/unloading a van), but I found the clip to be less than ideal for that, so I flipped the H1R again. My Olight roster has shrunk quite a bit. I only have 2 S1RIIs left. The titanium winter edition and the S1RII standard as a backup. Had they build the baton pro in CU or TI with the same warm tint they did the S1RII TI, I would have jumped on that, not knowing exactly what to use it for, but having wanted it badly enough to buy it during the sale.

When the numbering convention was mostly standardized, it was supposed to represent the overall size of the battery, including shrink wrap, IC protection, etc. Then the standard was diluted even more with flat top batteries vs button top. The length of the cells became less of an issue in flashlights when they started using longer springs to account for different sized cells. I'm a huge Olight fan of over 10 yrs but using proprietary batteries irks me a bit.

I haven't bought a flashlight in several years so that's how I justified buying all those lights. Keychain lights don't count, right? :)
