    Hi All

I’m looking for a cartridge bag to carry round the clay ground and open to suggestions. I would also use it on the odd game day as well. I do like the military/tactical type gear so preferably that style but open to all ideas.

I’m in the U.K. so we just don’t seem to get as good a selection of gear as you guys over the pond.

Ideally I don’t want it too big. I need it to hold 75 cartridges maximum and if I can attach a water bottle to it and keep my ear defenders and chokes etc in there then that would be ideal.

I’ve seen the Hazard 4 MPC that looks like it could be good but it’s also on the expensive side!

Any pics of your suggestions and load out would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

    Andy

British army ammo grab bag ? Mostly in MTP, but I have seen them in OG and I think other companies have copied them.

IIRC they have a zip or velcro opening across the top of the bag, which lets you just put your hand in to get items without opening it fully

Cheers for that suggestion. I had a look and they look ok.

I think I’ll hang on and see if anything else crops up before I buy one through.

The Hazard 4 MPC doesn’t look like it will make it to the U.K. what with handguns not allowed...

    Guess I’ll keep on searching.

Thomas Jacks has one, but it's almost £100.

You wouldn't go far wrong with a Helikon satchel or similar.

I bought a Goruck pistol case from US to UK to hold none firearms stuff. Its only firearms, ammo, parts which are not allowed. You can also buy certain firearms accesories but might involve a visit from police why you ordered it. Bags are not an issue in eyes of law.

I meant there won’t be a need for Hazard4 to bring them in to the U.K. as a pistol case.

For now I have repurposed a Nash Brew Kit bag for my cartridge bag. The bigger side holds east 250 cartridges and me ear defenders and a microfibre cloth fit in the uninsulated pouch. I keep a drink in the insulated side and that stays cool while I’m shooting.

I’ll stick a picture up when I get home.

The bag is holding up well. Shame it doesn’t have a shoulder strap but it’s doing good.
