I just call it "the bag™"

If my ex-wife is around, though, I call it my purse, 'cause that annoys her.

    A Mission Workshop VX Rummy.

It is spacious as all get out and takes a beating like a champ. I've had it a few years now and not a single complaint.

The top rolls down to close as well, so you can pack it with an obscene amount of stuff if you need to.

That's one of the most ingenious ultralight setups I've seen. Thank you for sharing your kit.

Thank you sir.... really appreciate it. Still working on it - of course, a never ending process.

If you ever laid out a list of this and some of your other set ups I am sure I am not the only one who would appreciate it

That bag looks great! The pattern is Flectarn... it might be from their GSG-9 line.

Thanks! My cousin from Germany came over and had the same bag in grey. I really liked it but Adidas didn't offer it anymore so I chose the Flectarn.

I don't have a picture on me at the moment, but I have a Hazard 4 Kato that I'm rarely without. While in Paris and Malta, its' small size (and the fact that it's not a backpack" let me carry it around without much notice. At Versailles especially, where they were not allowing many bags (very few backpacks at the time, which we were told was unusual) through due to an elevated security threat, the Kato was an easy in. I love this bag, I really do. Just watch the weight of your load and you're good with it.

True! Most of my EDC flashlights/electronics have been inspired by (aka "ripped off";)) reppans. I can't count the number of gear questions he's answered for me. Very knowledgeable and always willing to share that knowledge.

Good thread with lots of nice set ups. I've been holding off on getting a Sarma Custom mini...may not be able to hold off much longer!

    Good morning everyone!

I figured it was time I post my set up. Since I did start the thread.

    Here goes

This is my maxpedition thermite in urban dad mode.
The outside mag pouches have a flashlight, instant coffee pouches and usually cough candies (halls as the long package fits well). The other pouch has a pack of Kleenex. The rear long slip pouch has hands wipes for the kids and extra batteries. The top zippered pouch has headphones with a hair tie for my daughter, lip balm and a lighter. The front pouch has my wallet, moleskine notebook (not sure which model) and the inside slip pouch has laminated cards with various knots. The main inside compartment has my sunglasses, meds and a head light. The inside slip pouch has a boo boo kit with Polysporin (in an old cloth sunglass sleeve). On the outside I also have my parachord bracelet attached.

It's fairly loaded but I do have room for a few other as needed items. I did have a pen and my lm surge with all the accessories in it but my skinth handles those now.

I mostly wear it over the shoulder but in crowds I wear it on my waist and add my wife's wallet. This way she can leave her purse in the stroller and we can park it somewhere.

    Thanks,
    W. M.

    P. S. I have also used it for bow hunting (camping in the woods with my bow) and i found it to be a great size paired with my MEC hydration pack and skinth.

My onetigris EDC sling. It's cheap made in China, supposedly 1000D Cordura.

I've got a small PFAK, flashlight, hand sani, extra knife, leatherman wingman, my Nexus 7 tablet, spare 18650s for the light, small amount of duct tape, and a Tide to go. There's also a couple of Bic lighters and my security badge, notepad and 2 pens. I use just about all of it daily, PFAK if only for some advil (messed up my shoulder the other day).

After a unicorn sighting prompted me to start looking for a mini man purse, I ended up with the maxped daily essentials pouch. I'm in the process of making a shoulder strap out of paracord, webbing and a cobra buckle. [IMG]

I currently change between the Burton Annex backpack and a custom Timbuk2 messenger.

I have a Topo Design sling on the way. Tried it out in the store and it seems like it will be a great public transit, bike, and travel bag. It's like a cross between an ILE Apex, GoRuck Bullet and a courier bag. Rides nice and high without bulging out like a courier bag. Easy to switch sides in just a few seconds. Had to order it to get a color I could live with, as the store was down to the last two, both in the least appetizing color.

I'm a few posts up from you...and I'm digging the kryptek on yours. What brand is it and where is it sold?
