Good luck ScBubba Jr. And nice job keeping going on the weight loss. Gotta be the thin end of the wedge now and you have to work extra hard to lose a little. Kudos friend.
Unagi42 You are exactly right about the change at this point. I'm no to the point where I have to add more physical activity each day or else I'm stuck with meal choices that only involve lettuce and celery.... Not a meal plan I can or would stick with for long! As much as I hate to say it, I'm probably going to have to start.... Running! <insert ominous music here> You would think that someone who played soccer (football to you non-Yanks) for almost half his life wouldn't have such an aversion to running. But then you might not assume that someone was a goalkeeper and let everyone else do most of the running. Famous quote
Well after all the work you put into with the weight loss I think you deserve to hop off the wagon for one day. Also good luck to your son with football.
Thanks for all the well wishes everyone! Y'all rock! Looks like I've gone too many posts without anything patch related. So here's the newest one to join my collection. Steel Flame Mjolnir patch.
Did the fire pit last night to cook hotdogs and smores for the family and the neighbors. Had to do some prep work and decided to use these...
Mail call from Shepherd Firearms yesterday included their newest Guardian patch "The Legion of Thunder" This was inspired by the story of the 40 Christian martyrs from the Roman Thundering Legion at Sebaste. These men were Roman soldiers who had converted to Christianity and then refused to renounce their faith on pain of death when the Emperor of the East outlawed Christianity (after Constantine, Emperor of the West had made it legal before). These 40 soldiers where stripped of clothing, armor, and weapons and put into a frozen lake. The other soldiers lit a big fire, had lots of food, and even warm baths as they tried to entice the 40 Christians to give up. One young soldier gave in and went to the shore. The remaining 39 lamented that 40 had gone in to die for the Lord but now they were 39. One Roman soldier on the shore was so moved by what he was seeing in these men that he confessed Jesus Christ, stripped his clothing and gear off and went into the lake to make the number 40 once more. By morning, the 40 Christian soldiers had died as martyrs to their faith.

Depends on what he's covering. I think at this stage he could cover a wall in the man cave, say 8' tall by 20' long with velcro, and go to town on the sucker with verry little bare spaces left afterwards... *several hours later AK gets a Hate Call from Mrs. Bubba, forbidding him to EVER give out interior decorating ideas to her husband again...*
When they said you'll need all the morale support you can get to help with weightloss you kinda of took it literally scbubba. People are supposed to be giving you morale assistance, your not supposed to buy it.
The secret, dear boys, is hats! Hats with velcro panels on them! And dogs... Of which we have more than a few now... We started fostering a very pregnant dog at the beginning of November to save her from death row. She gave birth to 8 pups about 2 weeks ago. They are getting quite big, quite fast... I can fit at least 2 should patches and 2 ranger eyes on each of them now!
Oh, Eel Man, you know I get all the support and encouragement I need from you guys! I stopping getting patches for morale a long time ago. "Hello. My name is Bubba. I have a patch problem. (my wife says I do anyway...)"
