    Hi.
Today I have done this comparation between saw performance.
You can see number of movements to cut the same wood, written in the paper sheet.
Best one sak farmer perhaps because it's saw cut in two directions?.
2nd one Victorinox army perhaps because bigger teeth than the Leatherman. The cut with the army is a bit harder because the same reason bigger and more agressive teeth.
    3rd place for Leatherman.
I need to spend my free time of these covid19 days

As far as I know the teeth on all vics are the same. And if they are bigger on some models they should cut better.

Interesting. I am especially glad to know about the Farmer as I have one in my collection as well as several other SAK, e.g., the Fieldmaster and the Huntsman.

I realize you had to use what was on hand. Would be interesting to see a similar comparison done, but with the LM Wave or Wave+, considering how popular those are. Unfortunately I do not own a Wave...sorry... :(

I sawed a foot off a bedframe with my leatherman super tool once. The saw being lockable has value for heavier tasks

Just curious -- what did you do for the other 3 feet... ;)

Sorry. Just can't help myself sometimes!

Stubbed my toe one time to many... ;-) No in actual fact it did not have any feet. Just two vaguely u-shaped steampressed pieces of timber bolted on at either end. I removed the overhang at one end to fit the whole contraption into a bed nook in a very small bedsit
