I'm looking at getting another LCP (traded my first one) .. My Glock is just too heavy to carry in 100 degree weather. So I opted for another LCP ... Future purchases include Crimson Trace, magazines, and holsters.

Let's see your LCP and holster!

19 -- I still carry the 19 in the winter but it's too :censored: hot here in Georgia to lug it around

I love my 43 and it is a whole lot closer to the stature of the LCP than the 19 is.
Also a lot easier to shoot and more firepower, just all around more capable even if less easy to carry.

I don't see myself getting rid of either the LCP or G43 anytime at all.

G43 is on my want list for sure. What's the weight loaded?

    I have no idea?
The real allure to me about the LCP is how easily carried it can be and it is pretty dramatic just how much more compact it feels to me for sure.

But the G43 is so much more in every other way that if practical to carry I would always choose it over the LCP too.

I shoot both extremely well but the LCP was a lot tougher to get good with for me too though it is a natural pointer mostly too.

I know they seem pretty similar but they are really different in a lot of ways in the end..

I like the LCP but I did have to upgrade the take-down pin.

Yeah I love how small the LCP is ... I want something quick when I run into Walmart. I don't iwb carry due to my job. So I like how I can just slip it in my pocket and run in and back out. I keep my 19 in the glove box

My wife loves hers; she is able to shoot it fast and well. She understands it's limitations and practices to enhance its potential. I carry a P32 but have been seriously looking at an LCP for times when the Kahr too big (100 degrees with 80% humidity makes ANYTHING uncomfortable) plus it would give us ammo and magazine compatability. I would miss the last shot slide lock though.

I had one, and never warmed to it. Couldn't hit the broadside of a barn, and never felt really comfortable with it.

I eventually traded it off on a Sig 938. Love the Sig, but do miss the nothing in my pocket feeling of the LCP.

I've reduced the time I carry the LCP and upped to a PPS. I don't love pocket carry, so I almost always put it IWB. But once you're holstering up, might as well put something worthwhile in there. PPS isn't much bigger than the LCP, but I just can't shoot that tiny LCP well. No sights, too much bark, small caliber, it's not fun. Beats nothing, but with the world getting crazy in public, I've upped to something I can actually make a hit with.

my LCP has been replaced by the G42 for pocket carry... I can shoot the G42 much more accurately and quicker as the trigger does not break near the front of the grip

I know what you mean. In the southern humidity carrying even a handkerchief is a challenge.

I've been carrying my LCP IWB since its hot and my shirt tail is out. I prefer pocket carry. I wear slacks and such during the week and resort to a gun in my bag.

My sister has a G42 which has gotten me wanting a G43. But for now my main CCW is a Glock 27. On hot days when I just can't bring myself to carry something so big I go for my little Taurus TCP. I shot it and the Ruger LCP at the same time and thought the TCP was just easier to shoot. It has a better trigger break I thought. I call it the little pocket Stinger. But I'm saving for the G43 all the same.
