This is the best review I have seen on the sitka. It was like the pack was right in front of me. I am a huge fan of your work. Many thanks, friend!
Excellent review. Thanks I look forward to more reviews like this one.
I wish every backpack was reviewed like this. Excellent review; thank you very much. When I first saw the gear slinger series, I disliked how the strap doesn't attach at the middle on the top like the 5.11 moab series. This video makes me reconsider adding the Sitka in my potential buy list
PS: Your German Tactical meatball recipe was very good. I made some a few days ago for a potluck and it was a hit.
PinoyBoy, thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy my meatball recipe.
I explain the difference between the S-Type and the regular backpack at the beginning of my video.
Very good review. I was using it as a camera bag for my DSLR also. But it was causing to much weight on my left shoulder pulling my back down and causing back problems. I ordered the Pygmy Falcon II so that I can distribute the weight a little easier, and I won't be carrying the DSLR anymore. I had the DSLR with Lens, an extra 50mm Lens and a Flash. I just couldn't do it anymore. But I still love the Gear Slinger line, I think they are great packs. I may put them up for sale here.
this is one of the nicest review with this gear....thanks....
Thanks for the nice review. I enjoy your reviews for the organized fashion that you use to go over the features. I've been using a Sitka for a couple weeks as a work bag and so far I like it. It makes me carry less than my messenger bag but still has enough room for all my edc stuff.
That was the first video of yours that I've watched, and I found it excellent!
I always enjoy your reviews.
Good job man.
You're video review are the best!
I will say I didn't care for the Sitka, but you have just sold me on it. A+ review. Maxpedition should have you do reviews on all there stuff. ;D
Ive been looking on the web, and I'm trying to understand why one would choose a normal sitka vs an s type one or vice versa? I'm left handed and can't quite decide if it would be an advantage either way.
The "S" type is designed for a left handed person to be able to slide the bag around to the front and access the compartments without removing the bag. I all has to do with what shoulder you carry the bag on.
