    I'm wondering if there is an update on about when the packs will be ready.
    My current pack is pretty close to failin and I'm excited about these!

    Hey guys. I was originally hoping to have these packs ready to ship mid July but I am going to have to push it back. I have quite a bit of LE contract work that we still have to finish so please bear with me while I get this sorted out. I've received personal emails from a number of you because you'd like to take your Evade for an upcoming trips. Best guesstimate is end July right now. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope everyone is cool with this.

    I got to further test the Evade for a week out with the kids in Orlando. Carried it everyday for 6 straight days in both good and bad weather. No strains, no issues and no leaks!     LOL someone's got to do it.

    Anyway I needed the break. It has been non-stop for me for the past 2 - 3 months and things are going to ramp again in no time. That said, I'm not sure what kinda break this is when you're walking 8 hours a day!

    Alright guys, here's a quick update.

    The EVADEs in Diamond Ripstop (2-Tone or Solid) and Med Navy are still in production and these might be ready first week of August. Everything else is DONE!!

    I am currently at the production studio and we have all the completed EVADEs all packed and ready to ship stateside. I am going to reach out to Jon again to see if we can get these up on the forum store so that you guys can start purchasing them. I do have a back-up just in case. Will revert on this shortly.

    Hope this news cheers one of you up for the weekend ;)

    I'm now debating between the ripstop and the nylon.

    Also wondering if ripstop is water resistant or at least more water resistant than the nylon.

    BeantownJ - roger that, no worries.

    FenixArcher - will try to get this done tomorrow if you don't mind cos it's past midnight right now and the studio is closed. Both fabrics are equally water resistant for daily use. The water resistancy comes from the PU coating on the back of these fabrics and it's about the same for both. I have both fabric packs in the rain and I can't tell the difference.
