So far the only thing I don't like about my new Protrek is the band. I know some do the nato band, but I couldn't find many good pictures of what it would look like. Also curious whether people keep the "wings" or not. If anyone has pics and/or suggestions, I'd love to see 'em! Here's the model I have:

Sorry, it was a joke! I want your watch!!! Looking at it, you can take the band off, and looks like knurled spacers too, but I'm no expert. Sorry for crashing your thread, it was all in jest

I bought 250T exactly because of band. In Brasil the price of a new band is the diference of the cost between 250 and 250Titaniun...
If you look at the back of the watch, it should have the model #. Then Google the model number plus replacement bands.
I just ordered a Protrek PRW-3000 and want to get a new band for it also. I'm not a big fan of the resin watch bands. I'd prefer a simple cloth strap or even a Velcro cloth one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
You can't put a standard strap on the PRW-3000 unfortunately. They do make different straps for it though, but I don't know if they are sold separately yet. OP's PRW/PAW-2500 has different lugs that will take a Zulu or Nato or any kind of 22mm strap however, after you remove the wings (screws can be tight, use screwdrivers with a large handle if you have (to buy) them). I had some links ready for you, but the darned forum won't let me post them for some reason Just image-google PRW-2500 or PAW-2500 in combination with Nato or Zulu & you'll find a bunch. Feel free to pm me if you need more info!
When I bought my prw-2500 I knew I was going to put a NATO band on it right away. Here is what the watch looks like with the 4 ring style NATO on it. (Sorry for the quality, taken with my phone) It fits pretty flat to my wrist and I have fairly small wrists. I don't think you can use the winglets with a NATO strap because of the way they loop under the watch. I also have the two ring style NATO band that only goes under the watch back once, and it lays a little flatter. Also I believe that the lug size of the prw-2500 is 22mm. So you want to look for a band, be it a NATO or other, that is 22mm wide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It has seen some action, goes everywhere my other watches fear to tread. I was bummed when I got the first nick on the bezel, but now I quite like the way it looks and if given the option to swap it out with a new one I think I would pass. Wear yours with pride, now with that Nato it will go anywhere you do for years.
A little late to the game here, but for those who don't like the stiffness of the Casio bands, if you dip them in simmering water for 5-10 seconds, they become much, much softer. Almost like a good rubber Italian watch band. Plus when they start to get stiff again, just dip and repeat! I do it to my Protrek about every 6 months or so.
