Removing scales from a SAK manager

    Hello. Curious if it possible to remove the scales of my SAK manager without damaging the pen assembly.

    never done it myself to a manager, but SAK scales are usually meant for one time use only. When you pop them off the plastic that holds to the rivets usually sheers off and doesn't attach back on snuggly if you try to reuse the scale.

    Yes it is possible. And very easy to do. The 58mm SAKs have 4 pins per scale so you insert some thin piece of metal/blade until you reach the first two, lift lightly. Repeat on the other side. Done. Now you can change your pen. I presume that's what you wanted to do, right? ;D

    If you just want to change the pen you could also simply pull it out :)
