Love your EDC. my spending is almost rivaling yours. How are you liking your skinths? I'm debating picking one up. Is the l-shield big enough?

    Thankyou.
I love the Skinths, they are absolutely fantastic!
The L-shield was plenty big enough for what I planned to carry in it when I ordered it, but you know how it is with any storage space...it fills up :(
I keep trying to fit more in  Trying to work out a way to stop carrying my Altoids tin and get a condensed version of its contents into the skinth, I'm thinking Bandaid, safety pin, nail clips, needle n thread and some gorilla tape...

Haha I hear ya. What about an old film tube (if you can find one). Except for the nail clippers you could fit most of that inside the body of a hollowed out highlighter or something. Just a though..

You're right, and just after I committed to buy it I found one with 2 drawers :(
More than twice as expensive though, Oh well. I'll use this for what I'm carrying and the extra's in my rotation will be in the first drawer of the dresser that it sits on. Should still help to neaten up the top of my dresser

Topeak ratchet doesn't fit the clips on the Victorinox bit-case, and I had been thinking for a while now about how fix it, then I got some inspiration from some adventurous guy in Alaska. So decided to go for it. Just wanted to get it all compact so I can fit more in my Skinth Shield

    Clip removed from Topeak case

    The mutilation begins...
Cutting off clips on Victorinox bitcase, also gonna take off that part at bottom of picture that the Victorinox L-wrench wraps around/into

Cut/Filed a slot as far as I could for the Topeak clip to sit, trying to get the ratchet as close to the case as possible.
The flared part at the bottom of the ratchet is minimally longer than the the bottom of the Victorinox L-wrench, so increased the length of the round groove by an nth.
Used the Awl to make holes in the Topeak clip to line up with the holes in the bit-case.
Sanded the the back of the Topeak clip down a bit to get the bottom of the handle to sit snug in the rounded groove.
Then found the head of the ratchet hitting against the bit-case, so cut/filed that end of the bitcase so the ratchet head sits nicely
    [IMG]

Apart from sandpaper these are the only tools I used
    [IMG]
I think its fitting that the whole job was done by the Spirit

Then I tried to superglue my hands to the bitcase, here it is almost dry......sorry bad lighting from here on
    [IMG]

Holes lined up pretty well I reckon
    [IMG]

And here it is all put back together
    [IMG]
I'm a little scared to pull the ratchet back out again, gonna let it dry some more.
A little work with the file and sandpaper in the morning, and if it holds then I'll be very happy with myself.

Wrong Mr Wilson, was already too small when it arrived. Tried to work with it, but no, my keychain doesn't even fit in that spot top right, I have a pretty slimmed down EDC compared to a lot of forum members and yet this guy is completely insufficient.

So, I just bought this on ebay. Haven't seen it in real life yet but I'm already in love.
