I've been here a couple of months now and today was fresh snow and sunshine, so it's about time I took some photos and started one of these threads before my carry changes too much more.

Starting with my EDC, here is a shot of my pre-EDCForums carry.
phone, standard overstuffed wallet, keychain, Leatherman and Spyderco Delica in SS.

And this how it looks now.
Left out the flashlight, but I loved the sun glinting off the Spirit so I'm posting it anyway. Purple Passion Bullet Space Pen, Flipside Wallet, phone, Victorinox SwissTool Spirit, keychain and the Delica.

Here's a shot with the aforementioned flashlight, Eagletac D25a Clicky Ti

That little SwissTech LED is why/how I found this forum. I pulled my keychain out of my pocket and my sweet purple Maglight Solitaire had unscrewed and all that was left was the tail-cap. I bought the SwissTech and wasn't happy with it. Started googling, found you guys and my wallet will never recover again.
    Pre-EDCForums keychain
    [IMG]
Car key, House key, SwissTech LED, Jack, Serenity and Spyderco Ladybug in SS

    and now
    [IMG]
replaced SwissTech LED with Klarus Mi X5 AAAA in SS and added titanium whistle. And got a new car key cut without the fat plastic head.

And this is the most important part for me, still nice and slim in pocket.
Moved the order around a few times till I was happy with how it sits. I just moved the whistle onto the ring with the flashlight and now it all sits really well.

Heres my backpack for my job as a Guide. Deuter Futura 28
    [IMG]
Minimal mods; added bungy cord and paracord zip-pulls - purple with GITD tracer and reflective tracer.

The main thing I like about this one is the mesh (hard to see in pic) that keeps the pack away from your back to allow airflow. Very important when you wear it all day, nearly every day. All packs used to have space between your back and the pack but nowadays its hard to find? Deuter and Osprey are the bigger companies that I could find that have this option.
My only frustration with the pack is no pockets on the waist-band, but I have a skinth on the way to put on the shoulderstrap to keep things handy. Its grey with black studs and pulltab, should look really good on the black shoulderstrap with grey webbing.

My hands started getting really cold taking all these pics, so pics of the load-out to come another time.

    Pre-forum MultiTool and knife collection
    [IMG]
Had these 2 Leathermans for about 20 years. One I bought and one found.
Spyderco Delica SS and Ladybug SS.

The only addition so far is a Victorinox SwissTool Spirit (which I love) but I can see both this and the flashlight collection growing rapidly, tax refund coming soon..

I don't get that ss knives thing, for me it rusts, no texture , and slippery . Just doesn't make sense. Care to explain ?

I'm definitely no metallurgist, but I thought one of the main advantages of Stainless is its corrosion resistance?
I like a minimalist, simple look, but really I'm just a sucker for anything shiny

Love all the purple, of course ;) It's cool you made a list of everything you've purchased since joining. I don't think I could do that cause then I'd realize how much $$$ I've spent. Not a good idea.

The list was because I started the thread late, future purchases will be documented with pics from here on in. I was actually surprised when I did a quick rundown the list and added it up, I was expecting it to be more $$.

Love the SS Delica. I've got a SS Endura. Had it since 1998, was my main carry for 11 or 12 years. No rust problems or trouble holding on to it.

So glad I found this forum. Love that I got a new job not long afterwards to be able to buy toys instead of just drooling at all your stuff. It's so much fun to come home and open the mailbox, I'm like a little kid having Christmas every couple of days :bounce:
Todays mail: 3 Eagle Creek pouches, Topeak Rocket Ratchet (even tinier than I imagined) and 2 Skinth Lshields

Current EDC; Skinth now added in, new Sage 2 Ti rotated in, and trit fob onto the keychain (even though the purple trit is yet to arrive)
The Skinth loadout is really coming together. I love the brass snap buttons and they inspired me to make some adjustments to the contents, a Copper Maratac AAA for one side pocket and a Brass Higonokami for the other to match the snap buttons, I'm pretty sure that you EDC/OCD guys will understand
The higonokami is still in transit.

+1 on the Serenity key fob! Actually +3, my wife and kid also think it's cool. Love the sun glint on your Vic-X too. Overall, nice gear! :)

Higonokami arrived, I love it. The roughness and the layering in the blade just does something for me. Unfortunately the little lever thing sticks up just too far and it doesn't sit well in the Skinth.....Solution?.......Order 2 more in smaller sizes ;)
At just over 20 bucks after shipping you can't go wrong!

And last but definitely not least, my very first tritium vial (purple) I laughed when I found he had packed it in a coffee bag ;)
