    Good evening guys,

I wonder if there's a "tool" for me to roll up small pieces of notes and hook it up to my key ring...

the reason why I am looking for such a tool...is because I feel that I want to be leave behind some form of "notes", should I die in an accident or something...

Should I die or something, I wish I have leave behind some messages for my loved 1 at least??

    Is there any recommendations?

I know its a "sad" topic

Do you mean like the one on my key chain? You can find them easily on ebay and DX etc by searching for pill fob. Some have a plastic inner container for extra protection. I think mine was about £1. You can also get high quality ones if willing to pay, but I can't remember where from.

    1. How much verbiage does it need to contain?
    2. One or multiple messages/recipients?
Printed on a computer printer, a standard pill fob could contain a healthy amount of text.
However.... it may only survive/be recovered if your death is a relatively peaceful death.

Death by fire, car accident (small items in a car crash can travel a truly impressive distance from the point of impact... personal experience), unrecovered body, etc. can all lead to your message being irretrievably lost. Morbid, but true...

A final message might be better off in a desk drawer, safety deposit box, etc.

There are also online services that can forward messages to loved ones as well as performing other services after you pass on:
    1. Assetlock
    2. Deadmansswitch
    3. Deathswitch
    4. Docubank
    5. Ghostmemo
    6. Greatgoodbye
    7. IfIDie
    8. MentoMori
    9. MyLastEmail
    10. VitalLock
are all companies that provide these types of services. Prices vary.

I have used a True Utility Cash Stash on my keys for years. I keep a rolled up $50 bill in there just in case I get caught without my wallet. Figure that should be enough to get me through a day of w/e I need to do.

Never had an issues with water incursion. The fob comes with a flat clip that makes it easy to tightly roll a bill to fit inside. I imagine that it would work equally as well for a small note of some kind.

They can be found on amazon for order. I would recommend the natural aluminum. I do not know from experience, but would bet that any of the colored coatings would simply wear off over time.

May be the Ti pill fob i posted in my thread (center of pic) could fit your needings.
To give you an idea of dimensions i carry an AA battery in it.
Just google tiremet or rockbros, they are on Ebay too.
    Hope this can help.

Apparently Rockbros makes 4-5 different ones, including one shapes like a small propane tank. Gotta say, I think I like the style in your picture the best.

I've been watching and bidding on the Ti "toothpick holders" on eBay, trying to score one for under $15. I just did this morning, and it even has four Ti toothpicks in it. Persistence pays. I have a few Ti items from the Hong Kong dealers, and the quality is very good. I find almost all of it to be ugly as hell, but on my budget, I take what I can get.

The Bison pill fobs are good, cheap, and come in a few different sizes. I don't like the colors, so I removed the o-rings and soaked them in Greased Lightning for 20 minutes to remove the anodizing. Now they match everything else on my keychain.

Small Capsule for my friend: aluminium, my Duracoat paint and I change normal O-ring to glow in dark version.
I don't remember where bought, but it wasn't expensive.

you want something very durable? maybe not for a keyring, but you could drive over it with a SUV: PET preforms. they are watertight. and inexpensive. you could place a usb-drive in there - or papers or other things. place them in every backpack u got.
