I've been using a FourSevens MIni MK II flashlight that uses a CR123a battery. Turns out that I am getting a few days at most use out of them before the battery needs to be recharged or changed. Days when I'm not working, it no big deal. Days when I am working, it seems like I am always running the battery out. I need some recommendations on carry containers for 1 or 2 batteries. It needs to be pocket carry.

    What is everyone using?

I use the storacells for my AAA, AA, and my CR123. Have them in my deployment gear and my EDC bag

I use the ones others have already suggested but I also like the $1 Waterproof Match Holder from Walmart it will hold 2 batteries and it is $1!

    And you get Matches too![IMG]

I use a keychain plastic pill holder. It holds a single 123 and as a bonus you can carry a single carefully folded bill as well

I use the storeacell as well, but look for the delrin battery holders at countycomm. It’s a great way to carry a single spare with you during the day.

    I'll second what @twoisone said!
The battery holders from Country comm are a great way to carry a spare battery. I carry one on my keychain with my Olight S10R.

Storacell here too. I also have little plastic cases that hold 2 but they are not as robust as the storacells, nor are they as orange ;) carrying 4 cells is not that much worse than 2 when it comes to 16340s. And i can carry some primaries as backup for my rechargeables.

I have two (used) shotgun shells, a 410 and a 12 gauge cut down. the cr123 goes in the 410 then the 12g slides over the top (bit of tape round the 410 to pack it for a snug fit)

I saw someone cut the store a cell in half so that you only had to take two batteries. I also have a Velcro unit which holds two batteries on your belt.

I like the Delrin tubes from CountyComm (among other sellers) for just one or two batteries and the Thrym for storing 3 to 6.

When I was still carrying a Surefire g2 daily I would carry 2 sets of spares in one of the heavy duty test tubes Countycomm used to sell. The ones that are made of a 2 liter bottle blank.

A bit of a tight squeeze to fit 4 batteries in it, but it worked.

After looking at Countycomm, I really like the battery lockets, but it seems like the only size available is for 18650. Time to look at the other suggestions.

I’ve been wanting and hoping for about a month that the CountyComm ones come back in stock. I have a AA one and really wanted a CR123 also, but it has been out of stock.

I use these for all my batteries, it’s called a battery caddy. I got mine from countycomm but I think they’re available other places, too.
