    Hi All,

Looking to get a small sized, rugged flashlight for work that can be stowed on a duty belt or in a pocket.

Only other requirements are waterproof/resistant and red filter option. I'd rather be able to switch to red, than mess about with swapping coloured lenses!

    Does anything like this exist?

    Cheers, Paul.

You might want to check out the Nitecore SRT-3, I think it meets your requirements. It is small enough that I think it could easily be stowed on a duty belt, waterproof to IPX8 standard, and has an integrated red light.

Cheers Speedy, but nearest Home Depot is well over 2000 miles away (I'm in UK)!

Streamlight 1L/1AA - small, bright, uses either a CR123 or AA, has a pocket clip. Not too “tactical” looking, but large enough to be used as a pain compliance device if necessary.

:edit: Sorry mods didn't realize previous poster replied to an old thread :/edit:

    Surefire Aviator

Runs off a single c123A iirc it's 250/50 lumen white lite and 50/5 Lumens on red.

Simple head twist for white/red and two clicks for desired lumens.

    Fits nicely in a pocket.
