recommend me a light based on survey

    The light does have a low that is 40 lumen with longer run.

    Yeah I know mine sure does but my point was that this already bested his stated needs by 10 times the runtime on High and not the 40l so I am confused as to the disappointment?

    For a simple utility type flashlight I'd go with the 2x AA format. The new Fenix E20 v2 looks promising - nice emitter, 350 lumen max and long run time on low modes.

    Thrunite Archer 2A is another similar consideration too.

    Yeah I have carried a Milwaukee 2aaa on my belt since they came out and it gets the job done pretty well for $20 too.
    And there is a rubber chomp holder on it along with the decent clip.
    Single 100l warm output.they do not get more simple than this just like the Streamlight Micro!
