I recently got a Leatherman MOLLE sheath for my Charge TTi in a trade. It would have been my first actual molle attachment to my 5.11 Rush 12. Would have been, because as I found out upon trying to install it and after reading reviews - it's crap. The snap to fasten the thing is on the strap instead of the back of the sheath so it really is useless for getting a secure hold on the webbing. So strange for a company like Leatherman to put their name on a product like this.

What are some good aftermarket options for a Charge-sized molle sheath? Also, my Rush 12 is sandstone, so hopefully I can come close to matching that.

    Thanks,
    Steve

+1, Molle attachment is an option on many skinths.

I hadn't heard of Skinth before - seriously nice looking sheaths, very cool. I wasn't really thinking of carrying more than the tool itself, but seeing some of the other options got me thinking. Perhaps a bit kit and/or AAA flashlight, but no more than that.

Great, the more I think about it I'll probably end up with a molle'd sheath for my backpack and another for my belt. This forum is expensive haha

I love my Skinth and would highly recommend one to you. I do have a few of the Leatherman MOLLE sheaths and I haven't had problems with them coming undone.

I have (well, had until my bag got pinched...) the molle sheath that came with the MUT.

Carried every day and thrown around a van and building sites, never once came undone. Was a really secure sheath, and I would have another in a heartbeat :)

Maybe I was over-thinking it? Is the LT molle sheath intended to only go through two molle loops? It seemed pretty floppy when installed that way.

I've got one installed through three loops on three bags with no problems.

I own a couple of Skinths and the fact you can customise them puts the in a category of their own, but I was totally a blown away by the build quality of Rogisi brand gear: aliexpress.com/item/Rogisi-10P08-MOLLE-Tool-Flashlight-sets-Military-Tool-Bag-Pouch-Color-Black-Brown-ACU-Didital-Camo/540516294.html - once I received one of these sheaths I basically ordered one of everything they did that suited my needs - the sheath is deep enough to fit a Surge so when using my Charge TTi I buffer the bottom with a bundle of 550 Paracord...
