Does anyone have this light that could answer a couple questions?

    I think I have a couple problems.

First one: does the side button have the battery charge indicator like other Olights? Like my S1R Baton II when you press the side button it turns green unless the charge falls below 60%, then it turns yellow. At 10% or less it turns red. It’s not illuminated at all on my new M2R.

    The second one: according to the website the Lumen modes should be 1 > 15 > 60 > 250 > 700 > 1500

If I press and hold the side button I get the 1 lumen. Then if I keep holding in the side button, it will cycle through 15 > 60 > 250 > 700. Then I would think if I double tap that side button it should go to 1500. However nothing happens. It just stays on 700. And when I press the tail click, it is no brighter than 700.

So I think the turbo mode is non existent and there’s no battery level indicator.

Could someone confirm if theirs is like mine or if theirs is as I expected mine SHOULD be?

    Thanks!

Since making my post I found a questions and answers section on Olight’s site and read through the user manual, and now I think I have it all figured out. The side button ONLY illuminates red at 10% battery (not green and yellow like my S1R Baton II). And in order to get the 1500 lumens, the light has to be in Enhanced Tactical mode which means a full press will engage the strobe. I wasn’t using that and was only seeing a slight increase from 700 lumens. So I was thinking “there’s no way this thing is 1500 lumens.” So everything appears to be working just fine LOL

I keep my light in regular mode, then it cycles between 15, 60, 250, 700. A long press when it is off will give me the 1 lumen mode, good for around the house. A double click at any time bumps up to 1000 lumens, which is bright, and lasts quite a while. I found that with my light, the 1500 lumen mode cycled down to 700 in two minutes or less. They state 3, but real world is never as good as theoretical.

I’m not sure mine is functioning 100% (but it could be me). When does it go to 1000 lumens? I THOUGHT what I saw was when it’s at 700, I double tap the side button and it goes to 1000 and I double tap it again and it goes to 1500. I know I see that when it first comes off charge. But if I use the light even a little, I only get 1 level above the 700 and I’m not sure if its 1000 or 1500.

    My light cycles this way:

In normal mode, it runs between 15, 60, 250, 700. If I long press the power button when it is off, I get the 1 lumen light (or is it 5?).
If I double click the side button, I get 1000. The tail switch is momentary 1000, or constant 1000.
So, if I long press, and get 1 lumen, I can hold the switch down, and get 15, 60, 250, 700, 15, 60, 250, 700, 15, 60.... on and on. It doesn't cycle back to 1, unless I turn it off and long press again. Double tap anytime, 1000.

In tactical mode, I get 15, 60, 250, 700, and a double click gets me 1500. But not for long. 1 lumen comes on the same way. But the tail switch works differently. Momentary is 1500 strobe, constant is 1500. Again, not for long.

Oh, and in regular mode, triple click gets me 1000 lumen strobe.

Hmmm ...maybe it is 1500 I’m getting when I double tap the side button or half press the tail button and it just doesn’t seem that it’s 1500 I guess. Thanks for the reply!

1500 only last for 2 to 3 minutes, at best, when your battery is fully charged. If it isn't, it drops to 700 very quickly.
