Edit: Just realized I totally put this in the wrong place while I was tired last night! If a mod could move it to Bags forum that would be awesome!

I need to buy a Range bag. (I've always just sort of "leeched" my fathers Range bag when I was going, but it finally happened this week that we both needed it on the same day in different locations.)

We've been using an older model of this bag. BagMaster Competition Bag

I'm not a huge fan of this bag, it doesn't really have any easy internal organization so I would like something different.

    "Needs"
Enough room to comfortably carry 3 pistols
    Ammo for said Pistols
    1-2 Sets of Ear Muffs
    A small 4"Wx8"Lx2"D toolbox
    Staple Gun
    Magazines
    1 Harris Bipod
1 Set of sand bags front/rear

No restrictions on colors or price really, I'm very open to recommendations on this! Would prefer a should strap, its a bit of a hike to the actual range at one place I shoot.

    So far I like:
    5.11 Range Ready Bag

This bag is also interesting, especially for $40.00
    Midway USA Range Bag

I've got the 5.11 Patrol Ready, very similar to the range ready and I like it a lot.

I always carry 2 range bags.

1 for ammo. A generic gate mouth tool bag from Home Depot.

1 for everything else (targets, eyes, 1 set pro-golds, cleaning/tool kit, misc guns). A rectangular top tool bag from Home Depot, larger than the ammo bag.

That keeps me balanced when I walk ;)

Midway has been running their large range bag on sale for half off. Not sure if they are still on sale but they do reduce the price fairly frequently.

I use a Dewalt tool bag I got from Lowes. Super heavy-duty with lots of internal/external pockets for all the odds and ends I need on the range.

Ended up buying the Midway Bag and the 43" tactical rifle case, both approximately 50% off, too bad shipping costs $24.00 wasn't appreciably cheaper for just the Range bag so I got both.

For $40.00 even if I hate it, I'm sure I can recoup that investment and move on.

The Uncle Mike's I posted was a little less, and free shipping from Amazon.
You can always find good deals.

    Cheers,
    Paul

I liked the Uncle Mike's bag but it looked a little small to fit everything. Front/rear bag eat up a bunch of room: 15"x9" vs Midway 22"x15"

The bag I was "borrowing" was around 20"x14" and its very full when it's packed.

Ditto on the Dewalt tool bag.
I don't like to advertise when I'm carrying my firearm(s) or equipment. As for the people at the range... They know what you are there for and I've seen others carrying in bags that don't exactly look like range bags.

I have one too, and it should have plenty of room for what the OP intends on carrying in it. I had no high hopes about it´s quality at first (given the brand), but i was pleasantly surprised.

Since i added a platecarrier, helmet and a battlebelt into my "going to the range"-kit, i have been hauling all the gear in an Israeli army deployment bag, which is not optimal due the lack of organization.

I've got a L.A. Police Gear BOB that I plan to use as my range bag. Great little big with surprisingly ample storage space and pockets.
