They respond to shock collars well.

I have the invisible fence, which works well for the dogs. The Squirrels just need a smaller collar, and a car-key fob.

It's like an EDC Punch and Judy... Punch I'd relegate to the draw...
Judy on the other hand, could come in useful.
    She has attitude.

    Folks, a couple of reminders:
This is a private forum dedicated to edc gear and populated by people of all ages, nationalities, etc. Because it is a private forum, the expectation of free speech is mistaken. Everyone is welcome to share and discuss this common interest we have in edc, and can do so politely and in a friendly, lighthearted manner with respect for the rules and the owner's intent. The intent was not to provide a place where everyone can talk about whatever they want in any thread. In the past, members familiar with the rules knew such posting was not allowed and refrained from it and did a pretty good job of policing one another with polite reminders that threads were going off topic. Staff stepped in occasionally to provide reminders as well.
At some point, in part due to explosive growth in membership and a staff of volunteers with lives outside the forum and an inability to be everywhere at all times, such posting habits became more frequent and assumed to be acceptable. But they aren't. For all the members vocalizing discomfort with a return to enforcement of rules in place since the beginning of the forum nearly 10 years ago, there are other members who have left/no longer post because of all the extraneous conversations, and they have voiced their concerns to staff via private message.

If you have concerns about the rules, enforcement, staff decisions, etc., feel free to contact staff members via PM, not via public debate in the forum (see Rule 16 under Member Guidelines). We have had a number of threads just like this one, where folks (and yes, including some staff members and future staff members) post all kinds of fun and often frivolous posts, and they all ended up in the same place, but not because any one person or persons were being singled out. They become unwieldy. They detract from the intent of the forum. And they, at times, lead to public verbal spats among members.

To be honest, it would be incredibly labor-intensive to go back and clean up every thread with off-topic musings, and as I mentioned, staff have lives, too. Therefore, from this point forward, please stay on topic within threads. Non-edc topics of discussion that adhere to the guidelines set forth by the owner are allowed. Personal threads geared toward chatting and threads of rambling thoughts just for fun are not. No one is being singled out. No one is being draconian in enforcing the rules. We are working to direct it back to a truer vision of the owner's intent, and none of that direction suggests that we can't have fun banter and establish friendships as done in the past while adhering to the rules. Again, we appreciate your cooperation.
