Nothing more to add except Congrats!!!

I have a 2 1/2 month old at home so I just went through this entire process. Life changing is an understatement :woohoo:

    Congrats!

The thing I was lacking the most of was food...not for before (she went quick) , but during our 3 day stay we were severely lacking in snacks! It was winter and to leave was a :censored:. The Hospital will attempt to feed your wife and certainly won't feed you, so do like some other said and have take-out menu's ahead of time. How I could have killed for Doritos to munch on those first couple nights. Also check the hospitals WiFi policy and bring a laptop if you can. Your friends and family will all want to see pictures online asap!

    Good Luck! :)

Oh, one more good idea for the first few weeks:

During the last six to eight weeks of pregnancy, every time you cook, double the amount and put half in the freezer. You will congratulate yourself for having done that after the baby is born - you'll be busy as hell 24/7 until you'll have worked out some sort of system, after which you'll only be busy as 1/2 hell for the next few years. Microwaving some proper meal that you've cooked yourself will help you stay healthy and sane, both of you.

    Cheers,

    Matt

When the big day arrives and you are driving up to the hospital, ignore those "deliveries in the rear" signs...

Ours was a really short stay, but my wife has been in the hospital a lot since then.
    my list was as follows-
    pillow(never enough to go around)
    light blanket(all hospitals are cold)
reading material(might be to busy but can help the time pass)
    IPOD with videos(see above)
    energy bars or similar snacks
caffeine of some sort( I use tablets but use what works for you)
    tooth brush
For you I would definitly take a good camera.
    Congrats on the baby!
