Bad :censored: for sure... and fun to shoot. I've made some changes recently with a muzzle brake, a different red dot, harness pin and a new foregrip.. I'll post new pics.

:) No problem. Once you shoot the KSG, you'll be looking for one for yourself.

I don't get the trend of lights on home defense gun. Simply because I know how I will react to a light that isn't suppose to be there in my house. 870 off switch I practice walking through my house in the dark I have a dog so I am going to know where the intruder is . To clear my house 80% of the areas A lefty has support walls (block ) as cover
I am working on being able to back light the approach to our bed rooms just enough light to draw attention and let me see but stay in the shadows
I am not a LEO or military who need offensive capability I can see the need for weapons mounted lights for them . To advance towards my bedroom from any entry point puts you in my line of fire if in the only area I can't see from my primary defense point a ten foot move puts my behind a block wall left side strong defensable sight
And yes this were considerations when buying the house

The lights are simply for intruder identification and threat assessment and has to to with all the stuff that happens afterwards if you do actually end up discharging your fire arm and heaven forbid you shoot an unarmed innocent person ect, but long story short it all has to do with the court appearance and covering your butt, there are tons of discussions an the topic

Just my 2 cents I,m by no means an expert, but just what I understand about the importance of lights

I always have a light usually held out to side just not on my weapon If you are in my house uninvited after dark armed or unarmed you are not inocent period !! especially when confrounted by a loud agressively barking dog and you still advance .. as far as afterward our house has electric I will just turn the lights on

How is that KSG working out for you? I have had my eye on it since it was announced at a past shot show.

Like sandman said, mostly for ID and in my case outside of the house From your description I would not advise counting on your dog to locate an intruder unless he has been trained for such situations. They may do well with one but with more than one you may be walking right into a mess. Even the best dogs can be thwarted especially if they are out of your line of sight. Better to have your dog bark at activity outside that will at least attempt to alarm the intruder(s) and to alarm you BEFORE anyone gets in. Also being able to turn lights on from your room or your vehicle is money well spent. Does a great job at changing the mind of intruders and makes it a lot safer for you too. Clearing your house in the dark is not the easiest or safest thing.

Just great. the Bullpup platform is nice to run in any situation as it is but this thing still shoots pretty easy and is quick to wield. Changing ammo tubes is a little awkward at first but its a quick learn.
