I have a G3 prybaby on my keychain. It gets used fairly often, most recently to open up MCC Sections while doing a site inspection.
I don't know how to vote! I carry a P38 can opener on my keyring and I use it very often to pry things especially at work when I am checking termite bait stations, the stations which are cored in concrete have to be pryed open and I use the P38 for that but it is a can opener and not a dedicated "pry tool". I also use it to pry open paint cans. Wp
here is a great link on the use of p38s as a testament to the prytool. tons of great stories. p-38 stories
Prybaby G4 on one keychain, Superbug on another, and a Gerber artifact on the keychain that has a lot of keys that rarely get used.
Just got and slightly modded a 7" Pry Bar and it rides in my truck toolbox (Craftsman 4 drawer) behind my seat. FULLY intend to get SOME sort of Pry tool on my Key Blob ASAP!
I have a number of Atwoods with prytips I rotate on one keychain, and a county comm on another. I always have a pry tool of some kind.
I see very few actual uses for one, even in the posts above. I think it's more of a "cool" factor than anything else.
I think there is a thread of daily uses.. found it: prybar uses I used to think like you before I started carrying one around.
My prybar weighting in at 4 pounds and 18 inches long the Stanley Fubar. It rides on my CERT bag to get the what the heck is that thing response from most people. Pick the Fubar up at Lowes about four months for under $30, they were on sale and I had to have one. It can't hurt to be prepared if we do get a natural disaster on the West side of Florida. I would love to get one of the Stiletto 16" Titanium Utility Bar from Unique Titanium. Here is the link to the Titanium Tools
