Thanks, it’s one that I forgot I had. Found it in my trunk toolbag this morning.

As an example of craftsmanship I guess I am OK with it although it doesn't look all that extraordinary in this pic.

What troubles me is the use. It looks like the pry end is that rounded end opposite the cutting edge. I personally would be VERY concerned just reaching for this to pry, is it appears to me that the cutting edge would be pressing against my palm as I tried to use the bar to get leverage for prying. Maybe not all the time, but I can easily see that happening. Followed by a run to the ER room for stitches...

    Don't think I'd etc this.

It’s not meant as a high end polished piece. 1/8” O1 steel which has patina from use. The pry end is actually quite functional when the knife is in its kydex sheath as intended. Think of it as a toolbag beater.

AH! Didn't think of using the pry end while sheathed! Yup, now I can see that. Well done!

I still get a huge amount of joy just rotating my Piranha 2, Brewzer, BtN 10, Shard and DoohicKey.

Alternatives are not always easy to come by here in the UK, and these five serve me very well.

While I find the the pocket pry tool to be a pretty useful item to carry and have had a fair number of them the titanium versions never stayed in use very long, they work well but get scarred up pretty quickly in use. So Zack Wood bars in one of his tool steel versions have been on my radar, but they are relatively difficult to get, and not inexpensive.

    Enter this little gem!

    OAL: 5.25"
    Thickness: 1/8"
    Steel: CPM 154
    Heat Treat: 62
Finish: satin hand rub flats and polish spines
Handle: Rag Micarta with Black G10 Liners

Amazingly well done little tool $100 to my door, very pleased, and hope he does more of them!

It seems you are having issues posting pictures. There are some helpful suggestion in our FAQ section.

Personally, I have found Imgur to be the easiest to use.

The TTPocketTools Chopper is my favorite. I also really wanted one of the Zombies, but then he stopped making them.

Well done! I really like the shape and your grinds look very professional.

May I ask the type of steel you used? Oh and is it made with machines like and end mill or smaller hand tools?

    Thank you!
I made it from a bike headset wrench so I assume it´s made from some kind of tool steel.
I used its middle part to make the prybar I posted on Pry Bar-mageddon and left the ends lying aroun till now.
This one was made from une half of the end of the wrench -hence its curved side.

As for tools I used a hand drill and a dremel to remove most of the material on the shackle wrench, then finished it with files.
The bevels were ground on a bench grinder and the bigger one smoothed with sandpaper
