Well it's the smallest, newest and shiniest in my humble little collection. I have EDC'd Gerbers Shard for a number of years and I like the patina from my S-A-M-S-U-N-G S9+ via T-A-P-A-T-A-L-K
I love my Shard, and it’s certainly ageing nicely! [Edit] Speaking of which, and please bear in mind I’m in the UK, so options may be different from your own, I’m still wondering about acquiring more pry bars myself. I currently have the Leatherman Piranha 2, the Leatherman Brewzer, the Gerber Shard, and the Nite Ize DoohicKey (which Mrs. EMarkM hasn’t yet realised I’ve slipped onto her keyring recently!) In a new pry tool, I wouldn’t be bothered about all the extras (bottle opener, hex and so on), I’d just like a decent pocket/keyring pry bar. Any suggestions other than the CC Widgies, which I’ve already read a lot about? Cheers!
@EMarkM: +1 for the DooHickey AND the CC Widgies... fyi, I have BOTH it and a small CC Widgie on my tool ring. Mostly for the bottle opener function L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Arrrgh! Was on instagram just scrolling idly thru, when I saw the perfect prybar. Before I could get back to it it was gone... Cant find it anywhere. It had a clip had a distresed dlc like coating and a nailpuller slot in the front. Have scrolled up and down Insta, google and the ususal suspects (edcsupply, knifecenter, knifehq....). Its driving me nuts *sigh*
Can't you check your browser's history for that day? Somewhere after Instagram and all of the searching. Good luck.
This was inside Instagram . Have been up and down Instagram trying to find it... from my S-A-M-S-U-N-G S9+ via T-A-P-A-T-A-L-K
It could have been a pry bar made by TealeDesigns. He makes several with pocket clips and advertises his pry bars on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/str/Teale-Designs/Pocket-Clip-Pry-Bars/_i.html?_storecat=15787438015
Cant find him when I seach and the link only lead me to ebay front homepage.... from my S-A-M-S-U-N-G S9+ via T-A-P-A-T-A-L-K
Found them over at Etsy. Sadly not the prys I was looking for, lovely tho' that they are from my S-A-M-S-U-N-G S9+ via T-A-P-A-T-A-L-K
Now there's a company name and slogan - "Jedi PryBars: For when you need to Force it!" (Copyright Murphyist Industries 2020. Royalties in used bills only please.)
@ccwaters: other than adding some variety, what am I missing here? Why would a Russian made product be preferred over a Chinese made one? I don't get it. Am Yisrael Chai! Moshe ben David
Russians typically do a better job at heat treating steel, and the big one for me they don't copy anything and everything without regard to patents and intellectual rights. I've never purchased a knife or tool made in Russia that was absolute garbage, Just the opposite every knife/tool I've bought made in Russia is exceptional quality. can't say the same for China.
