I think its #0, definitely #1 or less. Another way to carry a Quantum is inside a larger biner like a MAS design one.
I just loaded up on Ti Widgys at country.com before they run out of inventory. Their shipping charge blows unless you get multiples so I conned my wife into buying stocking stuffers for my Grandsons
These little doohickeys have long past the "need" reasoning. Most of us just want them, they're cool, small and calling their owner to fiddle with them. Go and get one, any pry-bar would do as a first one. After that you're either hooked (bad for your wallet ) or couldn't care less about them.
Like it very much. He does make some stunning while simplistic pry bars. Is that a black oxide or phosphate finish?
And David just as Zach uses proper tool grade A2 steel, not stainless-steel many others make their pry bars of. All of my S/S pry bars I bought by accident and without proper check prior to purchase, ended up as shelf queens...pretty much useless for what they were intended to.
Found a use for the small hole in the Bandicoot today. I used it to bend a tight hook into a section of coat hanger. Jeff
If you ever want to get rid of the Sharpwerks or the Zach Woods, you have a buyer waiting in line right here
Thanks Eciton! Neither are going anywhere for now though!! The Sharpwerks one was a big surprise, just emailed him, he sent a pic back with the bars he had available at very reasonable prices, picked one and he sent it out the same day. That one is A2 tool steel.
I got my Sharpwerks, very nice and a real looker though smaller than I'd imagined. I'm going to have to file the edge of the bottle opener down as it's super sharp and the edge digs in to your hand just where you twist when prying something. I'm actually using it quite a lot, lot more than I'd imagined.
I really like Zach's older models, the new ones while stunning in both look and finish are just a little "too much" for my taste. Every new model he releases seems to add an extra bit or two making the whole look a little too busy. When I think pry-bar I think utilitarian, simple and straightforward, rather that a piece of man-jewelry I'd be too afraid to make a mark on by using it. I emailed Zach few months ago and he confirmed the older designs are thing of yesteryear and he won't be making those anymore. Such a shame.
Great collection, nice pieces here especially the Sharpwerks and the JDR was one I was just a little late for.
Hmm I came across nice-looking pry bars but can't remember who made them. They had dimples of various sizes, and the inside of the dimples were rainbow-coloured but the top surface was silver.
