My EDC at the moment. Must have it over 10 years now. Never has left me down. Has served me well during diving and fishing.

Pretty cool and cool watch, although I'd prefer the silver/black version ;)

Thanks. My first Rolex was a Sea Dweller; however, this was always my favorite. My wife got it for me, 'just because.' Couldn't turn it down.

Bullbars to protect the face. The bezel rotates under it. I have bullbars on a few of my gshocks and discovered they fit several other watches like my sunnto core to name one.

Let me know how you like it. I am waiting for the Ocean Vintage GMT to come back into stock some time this summer, (hopefully with the ETA still in it)

Casio starting putting these on some models of their g-shocks some years ago. In a twist of irony, people were twisting and bending them off the watches and throwing them away thinking it was part of the packaging when in reality it was a part of a system of protection to ruggedize g's even further. A some point casio just gave up. Recently they have begun putting them back on a few models. There were some aftermarket bullbars for extreme gshocks like the x56 King and the frogman series but they are like gold and hard to find.

I had high expectations for it from all the things I read online about Steinhart. My expectations were met, and exceeded. I love it. The build quality is really great.

Here it is on a modified NATO strap:

They still put them on BabyG's. I guess girls aren't as silly as boys. Or we need more protection and recognize it when we see it.
