Thinking of leaving my iPod touch behind, just to lighten up. It's been good to me and lasted longer than I would have thought, but I'm ready to move on. To do so I need a good podcast client for my daily listening via Android phone. The ideal app would be free, not dedicated to a particular podcast or group, be able to handle passworded subscriptions, and download automatically at night or whenever I tell it to. All my regular podcasts have their own app, but I'd rather just have one app that lets me listen to everything. Suggestions? Thanks in advance as always! I haven't been posting much lately but I'm still around.
Im not sure about passworded subscriptions, but Pockest Casts is a clean and nice app and downloads new episodes automaticly if you tell it to. Its what i use!
I love Pocket Casts. I use it on my phone and tablet. I use the desktop client as well. I only wish the android app would allow variable playback speed for video.
I've used the play store, pocket casts, and podcast addict for all the podcasts I listen to. My favorite by far is Pocket Cast, it seems to function the best with the least amount of fuss and has the best interface. For the $3.00 it's worth it. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk
Yet another vote for Pocketcast. I have a long commute and I've been using the app for about a month with much success. I think it was like $3, but well worth it.
I use Castbox on my android phone and fire tablets. Haven't tried a bunch of the others as it met my needs first time. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk
