I'm trying to find a way to charge some 18650 and CR123 batteries from a portable solar panel and cant really find anything.

I have a few flashlights that run off of 18650 and Cr123 and would like a rechargeable option when camping and backpacking. Also with this recent hurricane I realised I cant even recharge off of my power banks.

I did some Google searching and it looks like all portable solar panels use USB but I cant find a charger that feeds from a USB.

Also, can someone recommend me some rechargeable CR123 batteries?

I think your gonna find it will be easier and lighter to pack more cells than it would be to carry enough panels to charge a dead cell.

The Xtar MC series work off of USB.

Well I'm thinking the solar recharging would be more useful in a power outage. I've found that 18650s dont seem to hold a charge in storage for a long time. I dont want to have to constantly maintain that they're all topped off.

I found a nitcore F2 that'll charge via USB. I'm thinking about getting a Nomad 7plus. I wonder how long it would take to top off an 18650 or a CR123rc

I have yet to find a small solar panel that will charge a cell phone or 18650 fast enough to be useful. You can get a solar generator, but now we are talking about something the size of a small trailer with wheels. If someone knows of something that actually works please let us know.

Olight UC. Doesn't get more portable than that.
