I've been toying with the idea of getting the Logitech Ultimate Ears Mini Boom. I wouldn't spend over $100 on a BT speaker, still there seem to be too many options.

I have a Veho VSS-006, JBL Micro Wireless, and Flip. I use the Micro Wireless the most. I like how portable it is and the sound quality is fairly close to the Flip. If I want to go ultra portable I use the Veho. It sound fairly good especially considering the size and price. Unfortunately the new version sounds like garbage.

As far as I know the 2 uses a micro USB port for charging.

I have had a small Ihome bluetooth speaker for out and about. I found a speaker on amazon that looked interesting . I work a few hours of O.T. so I ordered one It is a Merit shok it is round has a carbiner and a bike mount. sound blows my little Ihome away
It plays from bluetooth , via cord from a non bluetooth mp3 player or free standing from a micro sd card\

I wonder if there is a bluetooth devices EDC thread around here. Your post reminded me that I wanted to post about the speaker that my girlfriend got my for xmas. But I dont wanna thread-jack you.

Sounds like a neat little speaker. I like the sd capability. Thats something i haventg seen on a bluetooth speaker before.

That is quite neat. I have a Sony one that's similar, but the size of a cricket ball, fits nicely in a car cup holder though lol

my girlfriend picked me up one off amazon called an ECOXGEAR its rubberized and shock resistant. Supposedly its waterproof too. Since I'm an auto tech she wanted to get me one that could survive a hit from a flying ratchet in the shop or wouldnt mind having some coolant splashed on it. so far its been awesome. too large for normal edc but for a multiple day trip outdoors it would be ideal

Just picked up a Canz 808, the small one from the local big box. Reception at the office truly sicks most days, so I thought I'd try this with iHeart, or Pandora to see how it works. Using it around the house, it puts out pretty good sound. Bluetooth was easy to connect, and it comes with a line in cord if you prefer that type of input. We'll see how this week goes with it, I'm optimistic.
