Lurked around and super liked what I saw. Remembered I signed up almost 5 years ago, but completely forgot the password.

Hi all! I’m a mineral collector, tea addict and outdoors nut.

I’m really impressed with all you guys and gals’ EDC’s! You all carry so much, it amazes me! How do you keep your pants up?!

    Here’s my humble EDC:

That gerber artifact looks well used! Tis good to see gear that is worn.

Half of the fun is figuring out what you like, how to carry it, and what works for you.:D

    I'm a mineral collector too.
But please let me firstly ask a thing: are you really radioactive... ? :p
    Joking, you know,
hope to have the chance of some talking about minerals ...(i collect since 1974...).

it's a Halo 3 wallet when the game first came out. Never bought the game, but liked the wallet. it holds so much!

Nick, I have been collecting for 15 years and I know pretty much all the radioactive minerals. Used to collect them specifically, but now I just collect poisonous minerals like arsenic minerals and asbestos.
my saying is "If it can kill me, I collect it!"

Woops, meant to post this, too.

This is how I wear the Gerber Artifact. On this cord, it's easy to access, lays perfectly in the pants, and has come more handy this way than any other tool.

Also, you might ask why I don't carry a dedicated knife... Too heavy, scares people and this is more useful. Besides, the blades are replaceable. cheap, can make it like new in a second, and it does more than I need it to.

And, yes, the artifact is used a lot. More so than anything else, I'm afraid.

Got the idea from some old camper dude on youtube who keeps an old lighter on paracord for easy access.

thats a good idea about keeping a band-aid in your phone, you just slip it in behind the case? i never thought of doing something like that, thanks! and about keeping your pants up, a belt helps :D

The idea for a band aid in the phone came from lurking on the forums!
The only belt that works is this old USA made leather one. I've even had a BDU belt, but lost it in Florida. :(

Y'know, I'm gonna be totally honest here: I have tried numerous wallets, all terrible. Something about this one, and the places I've been with it. It just feels right.

Everything is falling apart on it, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
