Does anyone carry a PocketMod? It's a single sheet of paper folded so that it becomes a small notebook. I've been carrying one for about a year and found it very handy. Check it out. http://www.pocketmod.com/

I have been lurking here (EDCF) for about the last month or two and have learned a lot. Bought a lot too: a Ladybug, a mini RSK, two pry-babies, a Rayskin wallet, and a Gerber flashlight. Now my pockets are full and wallet is empty. My family thinks I've gone a little nuts. I've had to stop myself several times from buying a few other knives. This stuff is addicting.

Welcome David! That is a great idea... I always carry a pocket notebook, but I might give the PocketMod a try.

That is quite clever. I'm going to give it a try as well.

And now Todd the Mod has a PocketMod.

As if you thought I could resist... :-X

And Welcome, David! Sounds as though you've been busy loading your pockets with the good stuff.

    I like that a lot!
I'm thinking all sorts of reference stuff on the backs of pages and templates for writing on the fronts.

People don't think I'm strange enough yet :)

This has potential. With the right reference material, printed on the rite in rain paper, this could be a great addition to a FAK, PSK, BOB, etc.

Ooo, I like it!  An alternate meaning for PMS. :lolhammer:

And CanDo, we don't think you're strange.  You're here among friends.

This little idea has all kinds of potential.  I could jot down tunes I'm learning or make little portable style sheets for clients.

I will give it a try. I have used 3x5 index cards with a grid for a couple years now.
    Thanks!

Thats pretty nifty, there are a lot of times I don't want to carry my PDA but wish I had certain information available. Whish there was a way to put my own information in the generator before printing. Guess I'll have to work up a Word template to accomplish it.

Interesting and useful. Trouble is, I'm too klutzy to fold it properly :lolhammer:

I'm trying to come up with reference material ideas. So far I have:

    phone numbers
    english/metric conversions
tip charts for 15% and 20%
key words and phrases in different languages
    first aid info
    insurance account numbers and info

    What else ya got?

Scríbhneoir, that I'm not alone sort of worries me :p... I'm not sure if it would be good for humanity if we all got together :)

    Scott Free,
Definitely morse code.... This could be serious or not depending on your situation.

Formulas could be useful to you depending...

Err... *flails desperately trying to figure out something useful to say*
    Alright:
    ~The Bill of Rights
~A Taylor Index (and equivalents for other types of projectiles)
~A Brief Explanation of the String Theory
~A list of mass/radar/infared/foreign government/renisance/neolythic alien sightings (for those debates!)
~Various formulas/equations/recipes for fun stuff like Thermite
~Ferret's Board Bow Graphic (If you haven't made one before)
~A list of obscure uses for common materials/things/chemicals that even quite ingenious people may have a hard time thinking of otherwise
~Step by step guide to solving a Rubik's Cube

It dosn't look like I'm going to have much room to write :( ;D
Hah, it would be funny if someone (other than me) actually uses one of these :) :D

I like that idea and want to learn more about it. The bad thing is, my computer won't open up the page. It's a new computer, so I don't think I have all the appropriate software downloaded.

Groan. I just switched from sticky notes to 3x5 index cards with Levenger's Shirt Pocket Briefcase. That's pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Cool! I prefer PDA's for many uses but a real notepad had its advantages too, so it will find a place in my EDC bag :p

    Welcome btw!
