Thanks for bringing this old thread back up.

The Piranha has made a couple of changes since the original release/launch.

I have not heard of the sheath in a long time(since I received it).

Since I did such a wonderful review of their product they very kindly offered me a prototype sheath(which I happily obliged ; p ).

I can email Justin and see if their are any updates.

I see they were back ordered until the middle of this month so hopefully soon for you.

I did email Justin at PocketToolX and we'll see when he replies.

I did mention to him that some people are interested in the nylon carry case as well as hopefully a new update on new products.

You will be impressed with the Piranha, I carry both the SAE and Metric variation(2nd Gen) with me everyday(construction worker Monday through Friday).

I did take the neoprene and bits out so they ride better in my back pocket(I carry a skeletool with bit kit as my screwdriver).

I believe they have weekends off so I may not hear from them until the weekdays.

    Take care
    -Matt

just got a gerber shard, my first taste into these type of tools, so far I've only been used it for opening beer, but I like it. I think one of these will be my next :)

All right guys, I received a response back from Justin(PocketToolX employee and forum member).

They are hoping to release "accessories" within a month or so but no promises on the exact time frame.

They have some other stuff lined up but their is really no time frame or details as of yet because they are extremely busy.

I have a combination Gen 2 coming so I will be posting a new/revised review after a few days of use. It'll be nice to carry just one instead of two. I am also thinking that it would be nice to have two originals because of the option of having open and closed wrenches of both SAE and Metric.

If you guys sign up for their newsletter you'll receive update emails from them about new products, etc.

Great review! I am very new to this forum, and EDC stuff in general (except pocket knives), and I really like this style of tool. I checked out the website www.pockettoolX.com, and I am going to order something, the only problem is: Which one? Maybe all of them!

Got called into work on my only day off so I won't be able to post a review until Friday or Saturday(which ever one they give me off).

Sorry about that but this combination Piranha has some subtle improvements.

I love the look of the piranha but from my first look through the site it doesnt look like they post to Australia. I have sent an email to be sure though.

So, my question is if they wont post here would someone be willing to middleman for me? :)

I put my Piranha about a weel ago to work scraping the bottom of my mower deck and taking off the mower blade it was a little small to loosen or full tighten the bolt but it worked great to spin it in and out after it was freed. It worked execelent to scrape the packed in dead grass from my mower. I have posted this before on the forum but I figured I would add it here maybe someone who missed it will like seeing my piranha at work.

I'm just glad you weren't using your fingers. My grandfather lost parts of five fingers to lawn mowers over the years. I think I'd have learned after the first time.

That's Funny. I can remember my Grandfather telling me all the time that You got to be carfull he was missing his ring figure and pinky now that I am older I know he was Speaking from his experience. A person is better off slowing down and being carfull than rushing through life and getting as much done as you can.

Why aren't they using 154CM any more? That's kind of disappointing.
