I'm more the sketchbook type than notebook:

One of far too many I have. I tend to buy books even when I don't need them, and then spend years playing catchup trying to fill them all with something.

The current book is the bottom one. It's A5 size, and usually has post-it notes and other assorted bits (often printed sheets) tucked inside.
I have quite a collection of notebooks. Might pull them together and post them somewhere.

Is it ok if we ask/encourage people to include what kind it is they've posted if they're available, and details of pens if pictured too?

I would encourage you to make your own edc thread in the introduce yourself section. In your thread you can detail your edc items, including your notebooks, pen, and other stuff too. This is of course not to discourage posting elsewhere, but will allow you to collect your thoughts and ideas in one place.

I'm sure that as long as it doesn't stray too far from the original intent of the thread, it will be acceptable.

First up is a tatty old moleskine that is about to reach the end of it's life.
It's been my EDC notebook for work since 2010 and has had a hard life out on site in muddy holes and dusty buildings :)

Here's the replacement a leuchtturm1917 that's about to take over edc duties :)

OP: you might consider acquiring a nice leather Moleskine cover to protect your journal. ;-)

I use my Moleskine for a log book working six days a week. Normally fill it up in three months. My boss tells me recently that I just need to give him a receipt for the Moleskine and he will reimburse me. Cool. I'm just about to place an order on Amazon for a couple pocket journals. I'm also going to try a couple Ecosystem journals.

I carry a Modena address book from Officeworks here in Australia. The paper's way thin and I would prefer non-lined paper, but the alphabet tabs come in handy on some occasions.

I'm currently waiting on a homemade embossing process, and I may try to replace the elastic with one that's yellow.

But here it is as of this morning, (mostly) unadulterated!

Oberon Design also makes some cool Moleskine leather covers. I have both Saddleback Leather and Oberon Design covers for the small and large Moleskine notebooks.
