The aluminum pen is from Muji. Love it but can't find the exact re-fill even from Muji. I prefer ballpoint pen with tip.
Got this as a Christmas present, came from Etsy and fits Moleskine XS books. Not the slimmest, but I don't cart it round in my pockets. Love it.
Very cool. Not wild about the rubber band, though. I really like the Moleskine style. Still, a very, very nice notebook.
Its an EDCPen and I reviewed it if youre interested http://www.edcforums.com/threads/edcpen-review.120208/
Just got this in the mail last thursday. Shaping to my backside quite nicely. I can carry 3 notebooks. plenty of room for receipts and my pocket mod cheat sheet. (Information that is quite handy if I don't my phone with me ) [/IMG][/IMG]
Just received the Midori passport last week and enjoying it. I have a few more accessories coming in this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Added what, I think, is the perfect charm/medallion for my Midori Traveler's Passport Size Notebook-which I love more than you might think necessary.
Custom leather cover for custom inserts. My final version is lined throughout. When I'm not using the custom set, I use the reporters 4 X 8 notebook.
Where did you get that cover? I've been looking for one that will fit 2 or 3 Field Notes notebooks but haven't found one that I like. This one looks perfect.
Made this tonight I can not justify the cost of a Midori although they are nice looking. This forum is dangerous to my wallet....notice the new LAMY Al-star
Man, I am pumped. Placed my first Rite in the Rain order today - ordered three different sizes/styles of notebooks for various work functions plus a notebook cover. Pics to follow when they arrive.
Found a great notebook at Barnes and Noble today for my Rite in the Rain notebook cover. It looks like it is a B&N exclusive, in a line of notebooks and journals they call "Punctuate". - sturdy kraft cover, tan, simple with a single word "Journal" on the front - lined, lines are a very thin black color - inexpensive! only $3.95 - 4x6! Such a difficult size to find a good notebook in - glued binding, seems sturdy - very smooth paper, works well with all kinds of pens including fountain - 160 pages (80 sheets, front and back) - single thin white marker ribbon See writing samples below. Basically no bleed-through or show-through from any of my pens including my Pilot Petit1. All my inks dried very quickly on this paper, I had to smear my finger on the Petit1 immediately to even get it to smear a little bit. Within a couple seconds they are all completely dry. Very smooth writing experience with all my pens. The 4x6 size is so hard to find a good notebook in. The closest would be the A6 standard paper size but I was looking for something a little narrower and a little taller to fit better in my notebook cover. I think I'm going to be picking up a few more of these. Back side of writing sample page:
Nice find, might have to snag a couple for myself to try out. At least when TEOTWAWKI comes around, I'll have plenty of pens, paper, and ink to document the fall of humanity.
