This is my new one, for those in the UK this was on sale in Sainsbury's.

It has lovely ruled cream pages and they feel of good quality. I am going to pop back and buy a few more, and they had them in A4 so I'll grab a few of those too.

It seems to be perfect for back pocket carry as it is very flexible and the band is also quite secure, it has the standard little pocket in the back too.

Indeed, used it all day yesterday and today for my decision log and I have to say I have been blown away by the quality. The only down side is that my local Sainsbury has sold out and only has them in bright pink left now :(

Last week I signed off an email to everyone in my workplace, the police liaison officer and the crown prosecution service with "love you, xxxxxx plz get milk" by mistake as I had just been messaging my wife. I am still getting it in the neck for that, but on the plus side we have loads of milk in the office.

I have also signed an MG11 with a kiss too. I think it is a bad habit from texting.

Did you get lots of kisses too?

I ALWAYS end phone conversations with my wife, "Love you." I've made it a point to make that the last thing I say to her any time I leave her. I've so ingrained it that sometimes when I'm making business calls I ALMOST end those with the same phrase.

    What was the topic?

Today on my desk I have three notebooks.

The most expensive of the three is the middle one and that cost me £1.75, but the other two were 99p.

Various bargains have been had here, I am now having the policy of buying things in bulk if I see them on sale.

The small brown book I use as my decision log for work (job number one) where various key details are noted down.

The medium book I use as a general jotter, I take notes in it throughout the day and then update various computer systems later on.

The A4 book is used as a day book, I number the pages and then have a page per day (or more if needed) so that I can keep track of everything. It is also good for holding A4 reports and things I want to keep quite flat.

Actually, I also have this one. It is an A4 Counsels Notebook by Rhino.

It is a blue cover Legal or Counsel notebooks with 96 ruled and perforated pages. It got left behind one day by someone and it sits on my desk and I will on occasion jot notes in it if I know I am going to need to tear the page out.
