1mm is way too thin, but I like that it goes beyond the usual "knife/bottle opener/screwdriver" combo. Not much beyond, but credit where credit is due.

If the heat treat is right, and it's stiff enough to stand up to (possibly inebriated) bottle opening, I think it could be cool. Thin also means light, so it looks more likely to get carried in *my* wallet, at least, than other such tools.

Ordered one. I'll be sure to report what I think of it once I get it.

Groovy. I'd like to see if we have similar experiences with them.

Also, I think we should have a thread for reporting interesting Kickstarter finds that we can all just watch. Not a thread for discussion(we can make separate threads too), but just one consolidated thread to help EDCF members get early bird specials.

I think i'm going to get this, 12 bucks isn't the end of the world, and at the very least it's a fun little piece to talk about

I think it's unique and funny-functional? Probably not-I'd most likely bend it trying to do anything-of course you wouldn't do anything with any significant torque....probably the best feature is the phone stand-or most unique I should say. I'd rather use a thicker cheapie survival card that costs alot less and is significantly more robust. Just an opinion, though.

However, this tool has its place-and in some ways it is pretty darn smart-have it be as strong as some Craftsman tools and I'll buy 20!

I backed out last minute. My bank account emptied a lot faster this week than I thought it would. Oops.

I realized that it only had a few hours left and I didn't really have the extra funds to get it within the time frame. Hopefully he is successful and does a future batch, i'd really like one

Got mine a couple of weeks ago. It's actually pretty stiff. It bends a little, but not enough for it to snap under normal use. I don't recommend using it for back pocket wallets though.

Yeah. I figured that might fix it after it didn't go through 3 times.

Wow. It actually bent permanently where the ruler/small flat head is, even though I've been carrying my wallet in my front pocket. The letter opener sucks and the average plastic card isn't stiff enough to support the weight of your phone with this thing. Not sure if I can really recommend this.

    I agree, Meh.

A little touchup with a file was necessary for all of the coined "edges". Handy for peeling oranges, not the best layout as a small screwdriver, the letter opener is poor even when sharpened. I cannot get the "stand" to work in any configuration. I haven't tried the wrench yet and don't plan on using it to wrap headphones around.

I tried wrapping my headphones around. The curvature of it makes it pretty worthless. I also thought that the random round hole between the wrench, "stand", and bottle opener was to put the headphone jack into to hold it tight. Nope. Just a random hole that's too small to serve any purpose.

It blew my mind how crappy the stand was. My iPhone lays almost flat with any card I use. I also sharpened the letter opener, and I have better luck opening an envelope with my teeth. I'd rather have one of the $1 China Special tool cards than this thing.

Yep, pretty much a useless tool. I haven't found anything it does well. Looks cool I guess?

Looking cool doesn't earn it a place in my wallet, though. :)
