I have the same problem, I love my Churchwardens, but they are not the greatest to EDC (although I have)! LOL

As for my EDC, I keep one of these beater pipes in my bag with an original tin of tobacco.

And I keep at least one or two of these pipe tubes I have picked up in my travels in my bag as well. What's in the tube varies depending on my mood. :)

    A couple of Peterson pipes
    the odd pipe tool
a pouch of One-Q from Rich's in Portland, OR
    my brass Zippo
and a Maratac S.S. peanut lighter as a backup.

Unfortunately, I can only smoke a few bowls a week. I have little kiddos that are very demanding of my time...

I keep a 5 count herf a dor travel humi in my car at all times along with some matches. I also always have my xikar cutter and torch on me at all times. I like to have a variety of sticks in the humidor at home so I can just grab a few and go, but lately it's been the perdomo 20th anniversary for me.

I always have either my Peterson POY 2009 or Savinelli Bing's Favorite Brownblast in my EDC bag. A pouch with pipe, tobacco, lighter, cleaners, etc does take up rather a lot of room in a small bag but it's worth it for me. I don't smoke very often, once or twice a week however it's nice to have with me for when I want to. I love churchwardens, I have two, though they are not EDC pipes. This monster below is my latest acquisition, a massive Oom Paul. Not for EDC either though for all that it's a lovely pipe to hold and smoke. Those thick walls mean that it never really gets hot and I'm a very hot smoker.

I EDC one of those 17th century type clay pipes and a camel snus tin of English tobacco.

And I always have a lighter on me. I barely smoke, but it has come in handy. (I don't do illicit drugs)

Here's my current PIpe EDC, generally only two pipes. I keep a small amount of tobacco in a ziplock bag behind the pipes. The lighter is a backup with matches in the pocket behind that. A Zippo is my go to.

I'm amazed I don't see more people with the Czech pipe tool in their EDC. It's light, has a great pry tool, good quality and a great price to boot.

I used to EDC it, but I removed it. Still love the tool, though. It's great in the garden when planting seeds.

I have about 40 pipes I rotate regularly and have 3 types of tobacco on hand regularly. McClelland 5100 Red Cake, A VaPer, and a Burley. Never know what I might feel like at the time and I smoke about 4 bowls a day.

I smoke pipe for about 10 years now (once or twice a week) and if I don't forget it, I EDC one (just in case).

I have built myself a nice collection during the last years ( I can't post the url, but you'll find it when you google 'Gypscoprotheres pipe-collection'), but for EDC I prefer to use my Falcon with some extra bowls or a Corn Cob (MM). The Falcon would fit great in my Maxpedition Fatty (which I still have to order!).

Good to see that there are more pipe smokers here (not that it surprises me, thinking about all the stuff we have to carry ;) ).

That's the thing with pipe smoking, you can't EDC some of your favourite pipes as they just don't pack down small enough. I love my churchwardens and my new Oom Paul but I couldn't begin to EDC them.

Does your falcon allow you to break the pipe apart when still hot due to the metal build? Similar to an 'Army pipe'? That would be very useful for EDC use.

I have a three small Stanwell Featherweights and a couple of Chacom cuttys as well as my personal favorite a Meerschaum cutty that is with me everywhere. I have a couple of small containers from Humangear that I use to carry tobacco so I always have 10-12 bowls of tobacco with me. I have a few Falcons on the way as a result of a pipe trade so I look forward to giving them a try as they have a reputation of being a very tough little pipe, perfect for edc.

Due to my cold, I've been without tobacco for well over two weeks.
I'm not addicted, but I do miss it.
    :(

I keep telling myself I'm not addicted...
