Anyone use it? Ever tried it?

I've had several people tell me about the stuff and how great it is, so I ordered some along with some other EDC items that were coming my way. Just showed up today. All natural, vegetable based. Smells pretty strong, but good. Pretty excited to try it out.

    Any wisdom?

I've never heard of this particular brand, but pine tar soap is fairly common in Scandinavia. I even have some pine tar shaving soap. It has a wonderful smell.

In the back of my mind I have a feeling it acts as an insect repellant.... is this even remotely close to the truth?

It does, but it's not miraculously effective, so you can still expect to see a bug or two.
