Welcome to Big Sky Country! Just a small handful of photos from Glacier National Park, Montana National Bison Range, Montana Going-To-The-Sun Road A moooooooose!
Absolutely recommend! It is so beautiful and we didn't even get to make a dent in it (we stayed a week in a chalet right by the park). Planning on going back again soon I hope. My girlfriend's dad who is a nature/outdoor master will take Glacier over many other national parks he's been to. I cannot recommend it enough.
So it sounds like a place where a tour guide would be quite useful? I felt like my last few trips wouldve been better had we used tour guides....
Luckily my girlfriend and her dad had been there before and he was a scout master and nature enthusiast so we got lucky having him tell us what everything was where to go. If you can get an awesome tour guide who isn't dull and can make sight-seeing fun, then go for it! Probably don't need one for Going-To-The-Sun-Road, but when we went white water rafting, the guy we had was this young kid who was pretty cool. He did the rafting, fly-fishing, hiking tours, and private sight-seeing expeditions.

Excellent captures! Someday I hope to get back west for a visit. Being born and raised in SoCal I could kick myself now for not visiting more of these places when I had the time. Not that Tennessee isn't awesome, I just miss the less humid air....
Thank you. Agreed. Dry air is far better for me. Dry heat and dry cold beat the humid heat and humid cold any day. And I love the mountains and canyons out here.
