That Candiru is little close for comfort.:( Is that considered concealed carry where you live?

I may be mistaken but in KY if the Candiru is concealed it would be considered a concealed deadly weapon. Open carry is fine. I have been stopped and asked if I have any weapons to which I replied yes and was met with "well isn't that cute...". It would depend on the officer and the judge if no permit was in place.

Gotta love and hate the name of that knife at the same time.....lol

One of my faves from Ecos Knives.

1095, differentially heat treated, stabilized palm wood.

This is perfect! Where can I find this sheath to purchase, or instructions to make one? How about details and instructions on the handle / webbing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter wrapped the handle for me with gutted paracord. I like the feel and look but really want micarta handles and hope to order soon. I have no clue how she did it but like the result! :)

I made the sheath as I don't like the sheath the Candiru comes with. I wouldn't make one to sell as I don't believe the fit and finish is as good as you could get for the same price from one of the better Kydex sheath makers out there. That being said....make your own. It was actually fun to do. The Kydex came from a local Tandy leather store. I used the Google to get info on how to do it. I prefer the griddle method to heat. The hardest part was making the Kydex press and even that wasn't difficult. With a little bit of research and minimal practice you can make a greater than adequate sheath. I molded one piece for the belt(which would also make it hard make the exact sheath) and one piece for the knife. I used Chicago screws to hold them together as I don't have a rivet press and wanted to have different belt "sheaths" for different belts I have. If you choose to do it the same way make sure to not clamp down as hard on the piece for the belt as it won't have enough slack to slide on and off.

Trying to carry on the hip today, works well when standing but not very comfortable at the desk.
