It's the OG 3 Day Assault Pack. I love it and has served me well in North America, Middle East, and Europe for the past 7+ years.

I can’t get behind the go ruck yet. I’m not sure how to organize it it being a solid open bag

You’ll find that I’m a HUGE fan of the Viktos. It’s a gem of an edc sling and is still my primary. I’ve not owned the Patagonia and though I weigh highly what Lord Botkin has to say about it, I think the Viktos is a winner as a purpose built, intentional EDC sling. You honestly can’t go wrong. I think I’ve sold like 6 of them in addition to the two I own. Would love to make it 7!

Hill People Gear SAR kit bag setup for duty when on the property. The 3 year old girl on the other end of the radio is the best part.

Man, time flies! Seems like it was just yesterday that you were prepping that tactical diaper bag (wish I’d had that when mine were little - jealous!).

Nice kit bag. I picked up a HPG Snubby a while back. Haven’t given it a proper workout yet, but it carries really well.

Wow, yeah. Thanks for the gut punch. It’s a blur. So much so, there’s another girl on the way! Guess I better break out the tactical diaper bag again here soon lol! But the coolest thing is this one loves all of the daddy gear. She’s got her own backpack, headlamp and walkie-talkie, obviously!

I like the snubby size but really wanted to be able to carry a full size pistol for this application. HPG is awesome overall.

Mine. Full FAK. Outer pouch has fire making/ water purification/knife/ammo/Mylar blanket. Inner has rain gear, combat shirt, tp, another bottle for water. Good to go for my local travels to get home or stay hydrated and warm.

Jay Hawk...fellow DRZ rider too btw if that is your avatar pic. It is a Fieldcraft/SOG bag. Medium size. I have a few of the 3 day versions as well. Great quality to price and I have abused a few over the years including the one you see. Don't cheap out on a bag, just know what your real purpose for it is and your budget. The FAK on that one I got on Amazon, fully loaded and I added a few things. It is legit and on par with the custom ones I have made from scratch.

I am a 5.11 fan if you want to spend more money.

    Thanks for the info.

My avatar pic is actually my DR650, over 40k miles and still going strong. I have a DR-Z also but it's used on more off road type rides. Only 30k on it. They are both great bikes.

I'm a fan of 5.11 as well, having a Rush 12 & a Rush 24. The pack you posted appears to be a tan color and I thought it would make a great fishing pack.

    Thanks again
