Just got the Hazard 4 Kato a couple of weeks ago. I really like it. Took me a while to get it arranged but it's working well now. Only thing I think is missing is a keyclip or loop in the admin section. That would be handy for me to clip a couple of USB drives I use for work. I did add a Condor bottle pouch as well. Been lingering on the site for quite some time, learning a ton of useful info.. Figured it was time to finally participate! First up, everyday bag for work/camping etc.. Maxpedition Riftcore.. Has a few packs mounted inside also.
Then the bag that goes everywhere with me, holds the things I use every single day and is low profile for certain areas.. The Max Valence sling... Didnt like it at first, but made a few alterations and upgrades and now it's always in arms reach.[IMG][IMG]

[EDIT] - Changed images to imgur.com...

I use this magnificent piece of kit most days!!! I can't speak highly enough of Savotta gear...

However, for a light day hike when I want just a few things I rely on the Sarma 10liter day pack with roll top (Sarma just about as good as Savotta)...

OK, so It’s been a few years since I last posted anything here on EDCF.com. I thought I would start my come-back to the forums with sharing my current bag. A Vertx Gamut that I’ve had for about 2 years by now. Since the beginning of the year I commute to work (new job) by public transportations. I tried going with a shoulder bag at first, but it got old pretty quickly carrying all weight on one shoulder, so I went back to my trusty backpack. At least for now…

Just added this timbuk2 zip kit to the rotation. More of an extension. Its intended purpose is as a pocket dump for on the boat while my main EDC bag, the Vertx Ready pack is stowed away in a locker. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

I picked up this LA Police Gear Atlas 24 recently. I was looking to replace my 5.11 Rush 12 that I use for work, and I first tried their Atlas 12. Surprisingly, even though it’s about 800 cubic inches larger than the Rush 12, I was still not able to comfortably fit my computer stuff into it (I do desk side tech support). I also looked at the Atlas 24 and Rush 24, but thought they would be too big; this is actually somewhat larger than the Rush 24, holds all my gear nicely, with room to spare, and is not too big at all. It seems sturdy enough for my essentially white collar office needs, but I haven’t even had it a month yet, so I’ll see how it holds up over time.

    From the LAPG website,

The Mil-Spec Monkey Patch Panel pouch, and a DIY Snoopy Velcro patch (I ironed the patch to some hook backing material)

    Maxpedition Tac-Tile pouch, medium

A 5.11 small dump pouch, which makes a great bottle holder.

My First Tactical 1-Day Plus, I use it to carry to work. Right now I’m dispatching Fire/EMS on 16 hour shifts, until I get back out on the streets. Taking a break from being a cop after 15 years on the street, hence all the cop regalia.

MSM Patch Panel Pouch holds my eyeglass wipes, BFG single mag pouch holds my Leatherman
    [IMG]

Henry Holsters Hand Santizer Kydex holder and OV Innovations Teeter Pouch for my 40oz HYDRO Flask
    [IMG]

Back, you can see a red cutting board peeking out that use at work for various stuff.

Another Teeter Pouch for my water bottle/Zip Fizz on the way to work. The disc is the top of my window breaker/paracord cuffs.

Front right pocket has my wallet and checkbook.

Other pocket has a tape measure and a couple flip lighters, hard to see here.

Front admin pocket has some Zip-Fizz containers recycled as medicine containers and my OV Innovations THE-E Pouch which has all my little tools, scissors, etc.

Interior holds various random things depending on what I bring to work such as a rolled up hoodie, lunch, paracord stuff to tinker, etc. The Vanquest pouch on the right has my Firestick to use at work and the Maxped Cocoon has my eating stuff, fork, spoon, Jess Hall’s Serendipity Seasoned Salt, etc. The other pouch is a CountyComm pouch with all my paracord stuff I'm taking today.

Eyeglass pouch on top carries my eye drops, extra set of glasses, and I don’t know why I keep that bungee cord in there.

Rear hang thru pocket keeps my S&W 1911 .45 attached to a Grey Man Tactical RIP-M. Man I’ll be glad if they ever offer those covered in loop.

Here’s my off duty carry, an FT Summit Side Satchel, not much to speak of, it carries a small portion of the same things my backpack carries, checkbook, Kimber 1911 .45, multi tool, cables, etc. I keep the main pocket free of anything and I usually chuck my iPad, mail, documents, whatever else I’m taking with me or bringing home that day.
