The bag looked a lot lighter in the picture before I posted it. It's my urban zippy hanging on a palm tree out in front of a huge stretch of Florida marsh
So here are some Pics of my current Mongo. Please keep in mind: This is not a bug-out-bag or a get home bag, it really just holds my EDC. Everything that I don't carry on my person (such as knive / flashlight / Phone / keys etc.) go in the bag. Attached on the strap is a little red bike light to make me more visible during nights when walking down the street. Attached on the carabiner of the bag on a lanyard I have a little Olight-flashlight that goes behind directly into the ccw-compartment. The water bottle holder gets used to hold my Janus in which I have my "survival stuff". I rarely carry water on me on a day to day basis. Since I live in Europe and we have the possibility to buy something to drink everywhere I don't need that. And if then I just throw the water-bottle in the main compartment. Whenever going on a hike I can just take out the Janus of my Mongo and throw it in my backpack and have everything I need with me. And just in case: Yes, when going hiking I DO have water on me in my backpack . Front pocket holds all my pencils etc. - I made a hook&loop-insert (just some bungee-cord with hook) and some paracord. There is also a cleaning-cloth for my electronic screens in that pocket. Second pocket: The "box-case" you see in the pic I just took out of an old laptop-case that I still had but never used. I super-clued some hook on the back and hooked it in the bag. In there is my vaporizer. Beside that i have my bike-keys (in the red-blackish leather-thing that has also some hook clued to the backside so I can stick it to the loop that's inside of the bag. Beneath all that you see a black box (with my ear-buds) and some gum in an aluminium case. 3rd pocket holds my Ipad Air - normally with the keyboard-case. To give it some protection I folded a bandana and put it on the bottom of the pocket. Main compartment basically empty - I only have some papers in there. That way I have "spare room" to put in whatever I need on a specific day and need. Side pocket only holds a small 1st aid kit. Attached on the mole is a climbing-carabiner and a white bike light. Slip pocket of the lid hold some tissues and my wallet Upper pocket: lighter, small power bank, iphone-cables and wall-charger, "Odol"-spray to have a fresh breath and some lipbalm. In the zippered area on the left (not visible on the pic) I have a pair of gloves to keep my hands warm. Ccw pocket holds (from left to right) Maxped Fatty, a leather-etui that has a storm collar for the bag when it's heavily raining and besides that (not very visible -sorry for the pic quality) an umbrella. Normally there are sunglasses in a case laying on top of the Fatty.
Kifaru Antero. This is actually the prototype model with the green interior. Ive had all black bags that turn into a dark pit. This thing is great! k
My new bag - Tasmanian tiger Combat Pack. Use it mainly for office bag + storing some usefull items for the times I need to go to the port or somewhere else. Pretty happy with it so far. tasmanian tiger backpack by Ivaylo Getov, on Flickr
I've had one too for a couple of months with the insert. I really like it but still wonder if I prefer a backpack or a molle bag better.
Here mine with new patch Can't see sheath knife on side, but love my External blue tooth speaker Sent from my iPhone Ghostprepper
Do potato cannons count? Edit: just saw the post about chatter and figured I'd better add something substantive.. So here is what I've been carrying for the last few weeks:
gotta say, I really like this bag.. but im a little bias with my opinion.. Hope you're enjoying yours..? Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
...adding more destination: Palawan, Philippines on a Medical/ Dental Mission for the less fortunate...best experience.... while over there, got a pro-tip from another EDC guy, to avoid pickpocket...it's a hassle, but worth it.
