Picked up the 2015 redesigned Router backpack recently from The North Face. They've made a number of smart improvements, but time will tell after I've had some more experience with it.
    • They've pared down the capacity to 35 liters this time. The previous version was an ungainly 41 liters which was a bit much for EDC.
    • 500D Cordura!
    • The "lay flat" TSA friendly laptop compartment has carried over from the Transit versions of their packs. Lacks a dedicated padded sleeve for tablets, just a laptop compartment.
    • The admin section is reconfigured a bit and has more fleece lined sections.
    • The wimpy top grab handle from the previous version has been beefed up and there's a handle on the front similar to Kelty, Mountain Hardwear, etc.
    • The back panel is nicely bolstered with defined channels and raised cushioned sections. You may be able to make it out in the pictures. Still a wimpy waist belt (removeable). Back frame sheet seems stiff and adequate.
    • The straps seem a tiny bit wider than the previous version (1/4 inch wider?) but it still has the injection molded FlexVent rubber cushioning. No load lifters on straps.
    Dimensions: 21” x 13.75 x 8”
    Volume: 2136 in³ (35 liters)

On to the pics. Insert obligatory apology for poor image quality/lighting here.

My current and favorite EDC bag to date is my MR ASAP in multicam with contrasting Coyote MR Yoke, MR Sling, and MR Stick It

For the interior of the MR ASAP I utilized an Eagle Industries admin pouch to hold some pens, flashlight, and my wallet/passport, etc

My last pictures were removed, my fault, so I add here some new. Its my new sling backpack 10 liters, very small, and I like it very much. I changed the puller and grab.

No need to apologize...I understand your English very well. Thanks for your response. I use Jogalite Reflective Legbands on the front and back of my Rush 12 and Rush 24. I was particularly interested in your reflective band as I did not know they made them with LED's. Conspicuity and safety first. Thanks for sharing. Danke fur das teilen und sicher bleiben.
