Great looking bag. Where did you find a Sons of Liberty patch that big? I can only find the little ones....

Just in..... Hawg in foliage. I won't make the claim that this is the last, but it's the best edc pack for me to date. [IMG]

Its a small tactical sling, lots of pockets but not all of them useful. Main compartment can be zipped closed, has a padded sleeve that can fit a 13" laptop or Ipad, with molle and 1" bungee retention. Also 2 rounded sleeve pockets on either side that could probably fit a nalgene bottle and a large zippered mesh pocket on the front. Front section, has a big open slash pocket with a keyfob. On top of that is two separated pockets with velcro closures within it, 2 pen slots and a larger stash pocket. Flap has a big zippered pocket on the front, and a covered zipper that opens up into the main compartment. behind that is a small zippered pocket for small quick access items (pens, coins, earphones, etc.) and on the back there is another large zippered pocket.

Overall design is actually not bad, but the biggest downside i would say is how the main strap connects to the bag, just small simple plastic clips that squeak when moving, annoying and dont really give much confidence of its strength. Its also lacking velcro closures in some areas. It is vinyl lined on the inside which makes it more water resistant. It comes with a non-removable carry handle which is 1" webbing. Also included is a partly padded waist(?) strap which is removable.

Do let me know if anyone wants pics..

    Backpacks by getinmyhead, on Flickr

The Xing is loaded to leave for work in the morning. The rest are stuffed with towels. I think the Xing will be a little big for EDC once I get to work but that's the bag I'm taking.

Yeah, I like this a lot better. I got the idea from micahtbyrd from one of his Instagram pics so the credit goes to him. So glad I saw that pic. Really made me happier with the bag in general and how it rides.

    Here's my new work/EDC bag.
    Camelbak Mil-tac Mule.
Holds 3l (100oz) of water in a internal bladder, and keeps it cool for an 8hr shift
    [IMG]

Patches, GITD and SOLAS reflective (I added the loop patch on the upper pocket too, there is another loop field on the Molle, which is standard)

    Lower pocket load out
Columbia rain jacket - rolled up, Chapstick, phone charger and adapter for my new phone, batteries for camera and flash, flash unit, memory cards in card wallet,
    [IMG]

    Contents of upper pocket.
Lens cloth, earplugs, cable release, power bar, gaffa tape, 1.4x teleconverter, SAK (stay glow huntsman) SF Minimus Vision headlamp, and two adjustable ties, for lashing stuff to the Molle (basically a bit of shock cord tied in a loop, with a cordlock and a reflective/glow disk attached, awesome for strapping the jacket to the outside when I need space, or holding remote flashes to stuff like trees)

Thanks for the credit, it seems like an easy way to carry. I like it. A nice bag that blends a maxped jumbo versipac, and a lunada is the hazard 4 kato. Tarfu had a good review. The tom bihn med cafe bag is a less tactical option as well. Sakplumber has a good bit on it in his edc thread...
